Meeting a fellow PH video gamer, thetrash

I thought I would take the opportunity to let you all know about my time with thetrash over the few days at the start of this week.
If you didn’t know, thetrash and I have been a part of PistonHeads and enjoyed various gaming with other PHers over the past years.
At the start of the year, he informed me that he was planning a holiday to California and that he might swing by for a bit to say hello. I said that sounded like a cracking idea, but informed him that I probably wouldn’t be able to do much with him due to not having a job, and not having very much spare dosh. No problem he said, he would cover it.
Fast forward to Monday and he turns up at my flat and we hang out, for the next few days we do various things and it all seems to be going well, and is just like meeting any PistonHeader I’ve met before. I let him hang out at my flat, introduced him to my wife, and it seemed like we were getting on well.
Now even though I don’t have a lot of spare money, I was going to get his dinner on Wednesday night as a thank you for everything he had done while he was here. (He was due to leave San Diego on Thursday morning) We had been to look around the USS Midway, and gotten some food afterwards. Thetrash then told me he fancied going for a bike ride for a while. So he dropped me off back at my flat and I asked him if I’d see him again, to which he said ‘yeah more than likely’ or words to that effect.
Fast forward a few hours and I asked him how his bike ride went, to which he informed me that he didn’t go. I then asked what he was planning for the evening, and he replied ‘mate, don’t message me again.’ I was confused by this so I asked him if everything was alright and if something had happened, he then said ‘Dude, when I said don’t message, I mean it’ In between sending these messages he had unfriended me on facebook.
I was really scratching my head at this point, so tried to see what the bother was, and then he blocked me on whatsapp, and on facebook. Later on he called me ‘f
king thick’ for trying to contact him again, and to this moment I have genuinely no idea what his problem was.
He refused to answer my calls or respond to my text messages to try and work out whatever his issue was, so I have absolutely no idea what the problem was. It’s my impression that he is quite cowardly for not responding in any way to me. I was quite willing to talk to him to discuss whatever problem he had with me.
Anyone that knows me will know I’m a very reasonable, honest and genuine person, so I’m just left utterly confused by this whole situation.
Recently I had been playing destiny with someone called thetrashlives, he seems a great guy but then someone told me to look on to this thread as he they knew I was a long time lurker. Knowing I like 90s Indie music he recently invited me to a Charlatans gig but I am shocked to have read what happened. You wouldn't be saying that if he'd stayed at your house and left suddenly after a quick struggle cuddle....Worst thing is he won't return my emails and has deleted his grinder account.

I will be getting my Xbox one this week, so perhaps we can video chat again.... we can listen to the Charlatans and chill with Netflix.
