Is there a crew session up yet? Either can't join people as they are in private or join them and it's a public kill fest lobby?

Norfock wins this session! Full points are on the board here, though the odd scoring system for some will mean it might not be initially obvious what the blithering fk is going on.

Aye big thanks to arranging / making it and inviting me, the contact floaty wavey race ( is called that right?) was one of the funniest things I've done in gta online!

It takes a special sort of mentalist to pick the mesa, i had a fully prepped grainger sorted and decided not to use it purely because everyone was using one.

Well done challenger another good night, looking forward to the next challenge.

Had an excellent laugh last night again, thanks for organising! biggrin
My choice of Gresley was either going to be really good, or crap.... turned out to be the latter and it didn't pay off at all.
I avoided the Granger because I hate the under steer, and hoped the better handling of the Gresley would make up for the lack of speed, obviously it didn't!
Plus I didn't manage to get a single clean bloody lap on the stig race frown

The ocean bridge race was genius, I think next time I would have it as in at the deep end (excuse the pun!) and not have a practice, just let everyone turn up and have to deal with whatever surprises there are in the race laugh

For those who weren't there, this is what happened.... this is the night time, stormy weather and contact on version.
I think its the most I've ever heard people laughing on GTA, its such a shame it doesn't record the chat...

Pete, I LOVED the playlist we did last night after the TG event, I was well and truly in the zone biggrin
I got kicked literally just as the last race ended, so didn't even get to see who won it all!

Anyone want to do a playlist of broughy's crew or red rum racings tracks?

Contact on but no catch up or slipstream and more laps, so we can get stuck in rather than the usual 2 lap dashes.

Yeh, was good fun last night! I was doing alright up until THAT ocean bridge race! FFS! managed to get a race win in RACE1 too! the granger was definitely the car to have! had some good battles with pete in the first 2 races! sorry i'm not talking much on the mic. just not really in the mood for idle chat last night! - but I was listening in on all the laughs though.. on the train race i stuffed my car in the water early on and had to call MM... i think i was tailing Norfolk up until that point...

i'll take a look to see what footage i have..

Solid mid table result for me... (arkose)

For the train race, i went through the lumber yard and then through the tunnel before making a vault of faith after the bridge to aim for the road and head right round the lake and past the airfield.

That floating bridge race was great. The laughing did my cough absolutely no favours but it was worth it to punt Pete off the bridge a few times... biggrin

The FQ2 was the fastest top speed wise, but useless for braking and short bursts of speed for the stig race.

Good races all round though. biggrin

If its a Merryweather one you can't sell it. If your garage(s) are full it'll ask you which car you want to replace, select the Mesa and its gone.

Ah, you were the one that called Mors, Arkose! I was asking who did it because it's a fairly ample penalty that I've retroactively slapped you with, and reduced pete's sentence (because I thought he binned his and took the chopper, which was why he turned up with a pristine one). That bumps Pete up to 2nd place and drops Arkose down to 7th.

Still a good showing from that FQ2 though, Norfock. You going to keep it?

And Karl, it may just be you need to wait for the selling cars cooldown to kick in. Just wait a little longer and you should be able to get rid of it.

I think in future I'm going to forget these 'checking the damage of your car' challenges, they don't seem to work very well when everyone's standing around waiting. I think that was a big problem with the impromptu race as well, but that was because I was having problems waiting for the train. So I won't be doing that again, apologies to all for a kind of crappy end to the session.

In terms of what to do next session, I was thinking of waiting a while to do another one, and instead organising a 12-hour (in-game) race with a 'theme' for a weekend night, everyone does up a car and then turns up for 24 minutes of solid racing. Would that appeal to you guys?

Scrap the damage round and replace it with best spray job which you could decide at the start.

How about doing another top gear night but with muscle cars ?

The bit i enjoy is there's a price cap so you test them to see what works best for the money rather than everyone turns up with the best car fully modded up.

Good work coming up with these top gear sessions, after a hectic 1st night they seem to be going pretty well now.
