st don't say i'm now lumbered with a mettalic purple/hot pink messa forever!
Just keep adding Ballers or gold Dubstas to your garage until you get to the messa spot then replace it.
Then you can sell the Ballers one by one

I'm going to keep it, would be rude to sell it after it's victory. hehe

I really enjoy the cash cap. It makes you think about what car is best and what mods can you do to it.
I had made up 4 lists of cars and mods to get to my final choice, as it turns out buying a cheap one and adding loads of mods was going to be my choice, I only found and tried that car out of curiosity.

Muscle cars would be a right laugh, or a 24 hour endurance style race around a course.
Although that throws up the challenge of counting laps and I'm not sure if you can do that for race choice.

I liked the Top Gear £1500 coupe challenge with the Jag, bmw and the Mitzi for the endurance race idea.

You have to do X amount of laps and if your car dies you can't call for a new one.

There are quite a few cars you can do the trombone glitch on. If you steal them you can only do one a day though.

Looking forward to top gear with muscle cars, make it happen challenger biggrin
I have a few red rum road tracks that are specifically designed as 24hr long distance tracks. Some are modelled on real circuits like spa. They have pit lanes too, so if your car gets damaged you can peel off and get it repaired. Really good fun, we can try one anytime, just let me know thumbup we don't have to do the full 24hr (40minutes), just 10 laps or something
They aren't long tracks by the way, approx 2min lap times. You just set it for 5+ laps

The easiest way to do a 24hr race would be to find a track that has approx 1 minute lap times, then set the race for 24 laps, or something along the lines of that

Or fill your garage with rat-loaders to do the Sad Trombone glitch! And if its' a regular Mesa you should be able to sell it.

I do like the solutions people come up with for the cost caps, I think it's great. I decided to try this one with no limits for the cosmetic stuff, but whether or not that continues, will have to see!

I'm thinking we'll do Muscle Cars in two weeks' time then. Next weekend will be an endurance race. I'll work on finalising the details.
're the endurance race, broughy 1322 has a track on youtube he's designed complete with pit lane, another option is multiclass racing so coupes and compacts.

I was going to suggest everyone using the same model car, to make it even easier lock the race to one and customs off. Saves money too!

A crew car, modded to the same performance level but with free options on paint and other cosmetics definitely gets my vote!

Definitely a good idea, I think we need to pick a car that has quite a few visual mods so that people have the chance to make them look a bit more unique.
Its probably easier to allow all mods performance wise? It avoids any doubt of people being sly and having more mods than allowed

How about the Futo? You can't normally choose them in a race so it's incredibly rare to be able to use it.

Plus, small rwd thing... MX5-ish, very PH wink

Exactley what I was going to say! I even stole on in preparation last night. I have an unhealthy obsession with the Futo, its just a shame its not competitive in its class. Fingers crossed they move it to the Compacts class.

Another suggestion would be the Sultan. I have in my mind some sort of non-contact time trial through the twisties near Vinewood hills (around where the Dubsta spawns) a la Monaco/Corisca rallys.

For TG challenge I suggest a FWD endurance race around the quarry. Chance of cars picking up damage is v. high and unsuitablity of car is very 'TG'. I think there is a standard R* track we've used during a PH playlist too.

Also, to test the format, what about a 4hr sprint race first?

That would be 8 minutes in real time - barely longer than many of the races we do anyway!

If we were to create a race basically till your wheels fall of
Then be good to create a race based on death race

Would be gta race with weapons but if you get blown up more than
A set number of times then
Your out

I've got a Prairie already - most amusing to find you could fit canards with the front splitter biggrin It's fwd though, so perhaps the Penumbra would be a satisfactory rwd alternative? Sports class is worth using for the crew car because often races are super or sports only.

The Fusilade doesn't have many visual mods available (other than the usual paint and alloys, there aren't any are there - not even a spoiler?)

Anyway, having had the Futo thought: even if it's not chosen as the official crew car, can we make it the unofficial one? I'd like to be able to use mine and the only thing it's competitive against is other Futos!

I thought the Fusilade had loads of visual mods?
I remember being surprised by the amount it had when I first took one to sell in LSC.

I'd be happy with Fusilade, Futo, or Sultan, but do think a grid full of modded Futo's would be a pretty good!

It's been so long since I owned a Fusilade, maybe it does; I'm a bit surprised that when I found another Fusilade PV parked in freemode, neither it nor mine had any particular visual mods though:

Pic taken some time around December 2013 hence my inability to remember!
