Right, who has:
1. Done all the heists
2. Got 15-20 hours they can commit (no rage quitting or flouncing please!)
3. A confident feeling they could do them all without dying?
I'm keen to get the big bonus for playing all the heists through, in order, with the same crew and without anyone dying once. You are able to restart any part if you fail for a reason other than dying and still get the award and bonus.
So, take the lure of the dollars away - anyone able to commit to this? I don't want to do it over the course of a week, more of a long day this weekend or possibly split over Sat and Sun to allow time to eat, sleep etc.

There's going to be a good bit of planning and practice required first - think the team will have to do the final heist once through before starting. I have a theory that all getting into the same car might be the way to go. that's going to be a right bd when someone dies during the last heist Also, having an outfit set with bulletproof helmet and allowing users' own outfits will be beneficial. One of the team suits has an armour effect but doesn't allow you to run quickly so I'm not sure how much of an advantage that is.
Norfock, I didn't die on the bikes most of the time; but the team needs to be confident in my ability not to mess up too
I'll use a car...I didn't say die.

The fact you can't drive them for st meant you had to take a car. 
However, if you get a good run at it this weekend and it works, I'll be up for a future try.
Only done the starter, the first and the fifth so may not be suitable till I do all the others and know what they are.

I could be up for this mate. I have pretty much all of Sunday free this weekend and could probably work out a few hours for Saturday. I'd want to run through the 5th heist again. We had a little trouble with the convoy, bikes and get away last time.1. Done all the heists

I've spoilered some tactics for two parts.
Convoy:
Found out with the convoy you can stand still and kill the 4 helicopters at the bridge, then its a lot easier to get through the road blocks and escape as no more helicopters spawn
Heist:
I think if the group takes 2 cars, 2 in each, that would be the safest way to do it. No one will accidentally fall off and if you crash or need a new car (tyres) two of you should be able to lay waste to any police that are there
Confident I can survive but might use one of you as a shield.

I think we should do the final heist a few times, failing deliberately to re-try without having to do all the set-ups, simply to get a feel for what works best. Bikes are risky because if an NPC vehicle turns or spawns in front of you, you could easily die from factors other than the cops.
Oh, and perhaps try the slightly cheating method of going straight to the dinghy, ignoring the checkpoints and parachute jump...

Did all of the Hasta La Vista trucks vs cycles last night...it seems the cyclists have the advantage on most tracks as it sometimes takes a few times to run them over and kill them. Even on foot they're annoyingly difficult to hit.
yeh, you did some with me (arkose) and a few other mates... was a good laugh! haha! .. the truckers need to be a bit "clever" if they are going to win...
Re: Heists and dying during the final heist - did one last night and it took 4 attempts or so.. I thought it affected the final payout if you died ?? does it actually matter if you die ? apart from starting again ? i also thought the host had to pay out again ?? or am i missing something ?
edit : also if you do them with your 2nd character as well ? do you still get the 1st time bonus again ? and do the "same crew" achievements reset ?

Your payout doesn't go down for dying, and if you quick restart and dont quit then you only have to pay once. The final heist is slighty different: Two people are carrying bags of money, the more they get shot the more you lose.
Looks like the only regular modified NPC car, other than gang cars, is now the Sentinel XS worth 14k.

Leaving Eclipse Towers, I go straight ahead and down the small, steep road. I then go down the road that's ahead of you, slightly on your left. At the bottom of this hill, go left again. Follow this road and take the second left back up the hill, and another left heading towards Eclipse. Repeat this loop until it spawns
Took me about 15 circuits in a normal XS until a blue one arrived, now I have that in the garage 4-5 circuits and they appear, normally yellow.

Just after posted this drove to the petrol station by the helipad in my blue one and another was there, blue one is worth 17k
2nd ETA -
Sold that one, drove around the block and another spawned, this could be the new dubsta 2

You definitely don't get the $100k first time bonus doing it with your second character, sadly edit : also if you do them with your 2nd character as well ? do you still get the 1st time bonus again ? and do the "same crew" achievements reset ?
I have not done all the heists with either one of my characters alone (haven't even unlocked the Casco with my first character) but I have done them all with one or the other character and they've all been unlocked for replay now for both characters. The vehicle and gear unlocks aren't shared, though.
