I think, like the most anal hi-fi fans, they are actually just testing their equipment and ignoring what they're playing on it. I pointed out elsewhere that I'd been trying to find some reviews of the PC version but I could only find graphics card discussion and I was nearly shouted out of the place

Slightly off topic, but now we can listen to Spotify while in game, anyone got any decent long playlists they want to share? It's a pain having to go offline from the game to select a new playlist each time, so I'm after some new ones....

Some people are saying it loads faster than a console, and the videos have a sleeker look when they're done professionally, but again, how much did it cost to set up rigs like those and how long will they be relevant?

A few of us had some great races last night. We did try 24hr du grain rasin (the track I had said might be good). I've changed my mind about that one though. I think we only had 5 of us on: me, jim, ned, jobbo and leyland81. We all seemed pretty evenly matched but it was proving impossible to overtake and if one guy had a crash it usually took a couple of the others out at the same time. Its a great track and i love it but I'm not convinced its going to make for a good endurance track with close racing.
We then did djdests over the hill track which actually allowed for some clean overtakes. The crashes that happened in front of me were also fairly easy for me to avoid and not get caught up in. I like the modifications that were made, we still need to try it with more numbers though.

the 24hr du grain rasin track i absolutley love. but i think you are right, more than 5-8 players you'll get stuck behind someone and eventually get annoyed and make a stupid overtake
