DJ, I do apologise for my standings, I feel I've let you down looking at the teams. If you don't want to turn up for the last one though, I'm perfectly alright with that. It's been a pleasure racing with you and I know it must have dragged on a bit for you. But it's been great to have you as a team-mate and I hope you keep the Primrose on your Massacro!

How about a Post-Apocalyptic/Mad Max themed car meet over the weekend, maybe on Saturday evening? No 'events' as such, I'm running out of ideas, but just bring what you like and we'll try and get some good snapmatics, like we did on that Valentine's so long ago.

Talking of Frustration, I discovered it now doesnt quite work as intended due to the extra scenery on PS4. There is now a tree branch at windscreeen height blocking the route out of the steep gulley, one has to instead turn sharp left and go up the rock face around the left side of the tree

You've not let me down at all, please don't think that!I probably will race on sunday just to complete the series, I have really enjoyed the races and the chance to do an hour long race with a big grid is too good to miss.
I just really don't like the track being used, oh well, not the end of the world

I did actually seek out a potential replacement since I thought you wouldn't be there at all, he'll be submitting an application soon. Car guy through and through, but always been a bit wary of posting on here I think. But Eased, Glade, longgboy and Nickie should be able to vouch for him, did one of my playlists today and raced well and cleanly, and kept up with the banter. (I think he's responsible for the Poop Coupe).

Hey everyone, I'm interested in being a part of the racing series I've heard so much about from Challenger. My PSN is lecrazylemur (SORRY for the stupid prefix on my username, I would change it if I could), I used to pop into PH every now and then a long time ago but never had any reason to post and eventually went away. Looks like I was destined to be pulled back here!
Let me know what I should do to start getting involved. I gather there's no spots available at the moment, but I'm excited to jump in at the first opportunity.

Pansondowlington and I have been looking into taking on running the next championship if the current custodians wish to move to PC, as both of us prefer the more fun racing on GTA. Our ideas include a greater variety of tracks, a different class of car for each race, and possibly asking NODO members if they wish to join in and make up the numbers, giving a 3-way crew battle. It has been a one off really, and I imagine most people in it will be doing something similar on Project Cars next.
However, I see no reason why we couldn't do a similar thing within the crew if there was enough interest

I think Eased was working on another race series, he is probably my choice of person to run it as you can't accuse him of changing the rules to suit himself (he doesn't win). He's also very good at not getting drawn into arguments and I've never seen him rage quit.What do people think?
Whoever it is, I think it needs to be very simple with as few rules as possible which stay the same through the whole series. Get rid of the teams and separate classes and just have every man for himself. Then anyone can join in whenever suits them.

If Eased is doing the next one I'm cool with that, but I wouldn't mind being a part if he isn't. If the majority want every man for him self I would be fine with that too but I like the idea of small, maybe 3 man teams. If someone can't make a week then their team will still score points, so they don't lose out in the competition as much. What is your opinion in doing races in a choice of the top 3 fastest cars of Supers/Sports/Sports Classics/Muscle/Compacts. I personally think it would make it more interesting and add more variety than just using the same car every race.
Forced choices are a bit mean in some classes - you can't make people buy a Z-Type and mod it, for instance, because it would cost a fortune just for one race. I'm up for varying the classes though. If we suggest a particular car which is likely to be competitive but allow a free choice then that would be fair, I think.
I made a separate thread for talking about the next championship called "The Next PS4 GTA Racing Championship" to see how many people are interested, and also to separate the racing chat from normal GTA chat. Anyone who is interested, post over there and we can see if this is possible with decent numbers.

A few of us have talked about what to do next.
General consensus was make the rules far simpler.
No teams or crews , either a 1 car championship or a 1 class championship where you can pick any car from the class.
Re who runs it I don't mind passing the baton on.
