I'd be up for doing a race series just not in sports cars. Be good to mix it up a little
Prepare for the ridiculous sons of anarchy chopper championship.

Dust off your big choppers, there cumming out to play.

Forced choices are a bit mean in some classes - you can't make people buy a Z-Type and mod it, for instance, because it would cost a fortune just for one race. I'm up for varying the classes though. If we suggest a particular car which is likely to be competitive but allow a free choice then that would be fair, I think.
In a forced choice race you can't use a custom vehicle, plus I doubt the Z-Type would be forced upon everyone. Unless the host was really cruel.

I'd be down for anything as long as there's some competitive racing I can get into.

I think it was me that first mentioned one car choice races and I had unmodified in mind when I said it, should've been clearer smile. It would give us people who haven't had the opportunity to unlock all the mods or make cars to be something more than rolling roadblocks in longer races.

Trust me Zed, some of us are rolling roadblocks despite having dumped hundreds of thousands into our cars still!

Speaking of racing though, I remember words being mentioned on NODO about a BTCC event with Premiers and Aseas - would that interest anyone?

I don't know why you'd choose Aseas and Premiers over Schafters and Warreners (those aren't very evenly matched admittedly), but I'd love some Touring Car racing.

On a separate note, I've sent an invite request for the crew, is there anything I need to do to be allowed into the crew?

Probably because a) cheapness, b), FWD and c) they kinda look like the old Cruzes that used to be in the BTCC. None of these expensive fancy crap Schafters. And for some reason, most of the crew don't like Warreners I think.

There are quite a few invite requests - what is your Social Club and PSN username? This applies to anyone requesting to join, please add your details to the wiki here: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

How many more wins do you need?

Pretty sure we could do a playlist and give you the wins required or I'll do multiple races around the prison to get you the wins.

Let me know when your on today/tomorrow. EasedLight15

You really need to keep your eye open from race invites from crew members too, I've sent you loads over the past few months but you've not accepted any of them.
I'm sure people would help you unlock everything, it would be much better than racing in standard cars! laugh

I had a check this morning and I need 29 wins for the last round of engine mods, I'm on later on most nights and I'll be on during the day tomorrow as well. Any help would be appreciated.

I remember you saying that before DJ and I've been trying to be more alert to the alerts.

I'll be on tonight 8ish.

If there are a few of us I'll bung up a playlist if not we can do one lap races around the prison.

Sorry I bailed on you guys last night, I was having connection woes, and then when I'd restarted to fix it, the team I'd talked to about doing Criminal Mastermind got back to me and asked to start us off, so I got dragged away to do that.

Zed, I'll be on tonight - happy to do a few 1-lap in a supercar of Criminal Masterminds to get you some quick wins. 29 wins should be little more than half an hour if we keep restarting.

Indigo says he can't post on the thread (probably in lockdown for new users because of all the trolls in General Gassing?) but he wanted to share his off-road track with you guys: http://rsg.ms/20b8fc1

Should be on tonight as well, woohoo.

Criminal Masterminds could take a while, Criminal Records would be quicker..

Anyway, the bit that slows you down is all the loading in between races. The quickest way to get through it all would be to make a playlist. If someone knows how to add the same race repeatedly to a playlist that would be best. Otherwise you'd have to make a playlist from all the different drag races.

here are a few I found:

http://rsg.ms/7329b60 set this to GTA for boosts to make it even quicker.
http://rsg.ms/aad8c18 Del pierro drag
http://rsg.ms/04bebb5 fastest on the strip
http://rsg.ms/e93832c criminal records.

Oopsie! laugh Something on my mind...

If you can add a race to a playlist you can add it repeatedly, I think; IIRC you can only create a playlist in game though. Anyway, the loading time for playlists of races doesn't save you much if anything, since you still have to go through the options and invite screen to start each one.

That would be cool. I just ran a bunch of races with Challenger so I only need 14 wins to get all the mods. I'm not sure if I'll be on tonight but I'll give you a shout if I am.
