Hey guys. Just wondering if anyone round here would be up for doing the all in order and loyalty heist bonuses, ultimately taking a run at Criminal Mastermind after a bit of practice?
Is that where you don't die in any of the heists? I assume you would try this on easy difficulty?I'm up for giving this a go.
That was a good laugh last night!
I remember the days of trying all the stunt jumps when everyone was going round doing them in a group with Vinopete.
Here's that totally unplanned Sterling GT formation stunt jump!

Challenger, we tried your unique new race last night with hilarious results!
There were only 4 or 5 of us, but it was such a laugh, I can't imagine how funny it would be with 30 people

For those who haven't seen it, you start at the docks on a quad bike, and the finish line is at the top of Chilliad.
Being a GTA race, you can swap vehicles, so its pretty much pot luck as to what you find on the street to aid you as fast as you can.
It can be very frustrating and funny to die though, as it means right back to the docks, even if you're right near the finish!
Proximity mines laid on the main routes north weren't found by people until they were on their 2nd or 3rd attempt, at one point I sticky bombed someone that over took me, I was just toying with when to blow him up near the prison and a quick bit of thinking, he jumped out the car
Trying to run up Chilliad with no car and the police coming flying down towards you is torture!
I will be on around 9 this evening for some more, if we could get a big group on it will be hilarious! Best laugh Ive had on there for a while

I've finally bothered to find 25 stunt jumps in story mode to get to 100% (which isn't really 100% but it's good enough for me).
Doing it reminded me how amusing it was doing the stunt jump evenings with the crew back on PS3, and a bit of jumping with DJ, Civ and Wongshuis last night. Anyone fancy doing all the stunt jumps through again? Or need to do them for the first time?
I'm really keen for this, was thinking of watching youtube vid to show me where they all are, but crew stunting sounds more fun!!Doing it reminded me how amusing it was doing the stunt jump evenings with the crew back on PS3, and a bit of jumping with DJ, Civ and Wongshuis last night. That synchro jump was brilliant when it happened. Like you say, we could not have managed that even if we tried to. I remember the days of trying all the stunt jumps when everyone was going round doing them in a group with Vinopete.

And the race to chilliad really needs to be with a bigger bunch, 25minutes of play to dnf while half way up the mountain actually took a lot of fun out of it
I should be on tonight.
Well, as DJ suggested going up Chilliad and back down again I have made just such a race: Any Which Way You Can. You start in Kalaharis, have to return to the docks (though not exactly the start to prevent people boobytrapping the finish too much). The finish is a row of a dozen or so checkpoints because the more checkpoints there are, the more the race pays out.
Here's the link: http://rsg.ms/669bba2
Beware that it will take 15-20 mins to finish even if it goes relatively well. I took 17 mins testing it, though I was forced to keep using the Kalahari (thank god I didn't default to the Faggio as I'd first intended!)

Sounds good to me, will try and get on tonight for a play test if possible. Here's the link: http://rsg.ms/669bba2

Not sure where your start point is but I was thinking last night, the quickest route up Chilliad is the east ridge (as proved last night a couple of times). So having the start on the east of the Island gives you a straight run if you go for it.
So how about putting the start location in the car park by the life guard station on the west of the Island? (bottom of the beach across the water from the helipad). That way the shortest route to the mountain is up the west highway to the slow difficult climb... or you could risk a longer slower run across town to get to the east side of the mountain for a cleaner faster run up?
Just a thought?.

That's a good point, though I won twice last night taking the southern route and avoiding the eastern highway because I stayed away from the bombs and snipers. No harm in having a few variations with different start points; I didn't really want to go from the docks to Chilliad and back because it's such a blatant copy of Challenger's but I wanted to get it created before going to bed. I have already moved the start point a bit further west, which may be enough to even things up.Not sure where your start point is but I was thinking last night, the quickest route up Chilliad is the east ridge (as proved last night a couple of times). DJ, thanks for that tip - wish I'd known that rather than driving up the island and back in a Kalahari!
Hey guys, sorry I've been away and not been very sociable of late. I didn't realise you guys were playing my maps!
I set it to Blazers for testing but the ideal situation is you switch to Utility so you start and re-spawn in Lawn Mowers for even more frustration, but perhaps Blazers isn't a bad choice.
I'd be up for helping any of you out with the jumps and getting a crew session going. I've been doing a lot of heists with some Canadian guys who are really good and have helped me through a lot, so I could forward you on to them as professional heist crews.
Will have to try and make more silly races for all of you. Hmm!

A race I spotted on Hat Films' Youtube video from yesterday looks fun - and fortunately I've found a link: http://rsg.ms/0bf102a
Link to the video (should start at the race, it's from about 9m 20s if it doesn't): https://youtu.be/YeeGKFosdD8?t=9m20s

God damn it, someone else got to youtube before me.
That said though, the main appeal of my job is kind of over. Since the last update, when people were moaning about the waves on the Humane Labs Hydra mission, the seas are all curiously flat during jobs and even sometimes in free roam. This means there's no waves to make the bridge go wobbly. Re-tested it today, no go.

What? Really? That's part of the atmosphere!Doing the hydra mission after the Ill Gotten Gains update last week, I drove the boat; I hadn't done so for a while and the sea seemed really choppy at first, so much so I commented on it, but then it smoothed out somewhere after we'd passed the end of the docks. Is the swell removal location based?

I'd appreciate an introduction if you don't mind. Still looking for people to give me a hand getting the heist bonuses.I've finished my Zentorno so need to start saving for the now ubiquitous Sterling GT .
