I've just cancelled my Amazon pre-order and pre-ordered through Tesco instead. Use this code: TDX-PYXM to get £5.00 off any game over £35. They do have a pre-order price guarantee too though I'm not sure whether this is quite as good as Amazon's. Doesn't mention cars, clothes, apartments or Pegasus vehicles transferring, just money (and not cash card money from XBox->PS4). I'm wondering what happens when I have two characters, as well. From what I can infer, the combined progress of both characters is transferred to one new character.

Selling everything first would be annoying (and take a while - I now seem not to be able to sell cars more than once every 48 minutes across both characters, even ones I've purchased) - I wouldn't have enough to re-buy all the cars I currently have anyway if I did that. Definitely going to watch what happens to others before I do the transfer!

I don't see how they couldn't transfer the cars - too much time and effort has been put in to buy / customise them. Having said that, if they did get rid of them all, and as much as it would piss me off, it would make me re-think what is in my garages and I'd probably end up buying a completely different set of cars. I have too many in my garage that I never use, but just can't bring myself to sell.
