PS4 GTA V Online

I've tried most ways to get online, and I'm sat on my computer instead. Can't get online for love nor money it seems....

Pete you get loads of RP for doing those challenges, I did a criminal records one yesterday and the RP was nearly enough to level up on its own.

Yep still nothing here either. Bought drive club and that doesn't work online and then this... £100 down the drain.

I haven't seen any update, though some people on the GTA forums claim to have downloaded one (1.4GB!) - but I have managed to get online this morning. It took ages and I ended up in a public session on my own, which nobody has joined, but it's a start. Spent the time sorting out the plates on my second character's second garage and getting used to it.

First person is quite fun on foot but I find it a pain when driving. Then I discovered you can have multiple camera modes, so you can set it to first person on foot but revert to third person in car There are so many settings, I'm just reverting controls to PS3-style for now.

I've been entirely alone online today but I'm still loving this. Happy with how my female character has turned out too

No sign of an update here either, Was on for a bit just running missions.

Did a challenge, it said that it paid 250k, finished it, only gave me 24k ? so didn't lost money but not what I was looking for. Odd.

I've only done one mission - Extradition, all in first person. No harder than it was, easier in one way because when I bailed out of the jet above Madrazo's house and parachuted, I didn't get a wanted level from the jet crashing. Might just have been luck. I couldn't see whether I was wingsuiting in first person; I guess you still do?

my 2 characters... gave the guy a massive overhaul... he's now a washed up Fijian businessman in his 60s.. and I didn't change my female one a great deal...

edit : also i noticed when in 1st person you get the tint from whatever glasses you are wearing!

Starting to get annoyed with the limo tint windows for a similar reason - convertible cars now have a purpose!

Twice this morning the game has crashed due to an unknown error; I've not lost anything because it's just been while going into my garage. Slightly annoying though.

just loaded up after the F1 quail and had a 1.14gb download

Updated mine earlier but not tried going online since. Hope it's fixed. Gave up last night and played a few hours of farcry4. Brilliant game also. Catch up later if it works

Same here, 1.14GB download. I only went out for half an hour or so and it was there when I came back. Got into a lobby with 25-odd players but after 30 mins or so they all left and I've been alone since

I'm online, but the loading screens are really laggy. I can get into races and missions though

FYI the challenges, Check very carefully the times and laps etc.

As expected people have now made challenges for 250,000 and have put their best times possible in fully modded cars in order to trick people, so you will lose 250,000k. Fortunately i havent fell for any of them yet but alot of them have titles like "cash" or free money blah blah blah but are just people wanting to lose you money

Takes me a good couple of minutes, maybe longer, to get into a public lobby. I haven't been able to join the couple of crew race invites I've received; it simply does even try and tells me I can't join. I've done a few missions with randoms though.

If anyone has Chopper Tail in their mission list, could you invite me to it when you're online? It's missing from my completed missions, though I do have Rooftop Rumble if anyone wants an invite to that.
