Yep, you can indeed - once you've done the first few forced jobs (think there's the race against Lamar, the drugs package for Gerald and then you buy clothes?) then you can join any public session. Just go straight into online, or click on 'Play GTA Online' from story mode and it'll randomly find you a lobby.

Takes a bit less time to start up if you join a crew or invite-only session though.

Race vs Lamar > Drugs for Gerald > Buy clothes > Hold up a store > Simeon pays for a car > Last Team Standing (optional).

Make sure you join the Pistonheads crew as well, someone will tell you how to do it if you haven't already!

Just a quick one to say that was the first topgear challenge night I have attended and it was good fun (My own fault for never reading the forums) Kudos to Challenger for organising it, was very smooth and a good laugh.
I had written off the Virgo before I had even started as its a bit st but I'll take 4th no problem

I'll probably let the Mille Miglia run before I start readying up another challenge, but I have some ideas. Part of me is thinking if things run low, we roll the same challenge as we did before car-wise, and I just make more challenges.

Off roaders might be next. Plenty of choice there.

Sounds like i have been missing out on some fun adventures/races etc. Can't tear myself off bf4 whenever i get online. Literally about to hit rank 100 so i expect once that's done i may come back on to make up the numbers in the races/shenanigans

You need either a Regana estate or the Emperor. Both are awful, even fully tuned up and are a right laugh.
