Thanks to DJ for organising that, laughs were had all round, though maybe fewer legs or breaking it into two playlists would have avoided cloud moments!
Top Gear event next week, will make a proper posts with rules but for now:
Vans, less than $33k. Go.
let me guess... theres a round to see how many dead corpses you can fit in the back ? Top Gear event next week, will make a proper posts with rules but for now:

Right, the rules nice and clear.
Bravado Youga ($16,000)
Bravado Rumpo ($13,000) - Remember you can change the colour of it using the iFruit App
Bravado Paradise ($20,000)
Bravado Bison ($30,000)
Vapid Minivan ($30,000)
Vapid Bobcat ($23,000)
In addition, the following Pegasus vehicles are eligible:
Maibatsu Armoured Mule ($32,500) - Not the regular livery version, that's too slow and can't be used in races.
Zirconium Journey ($15,000)
Brute Boxville ($45,000) - Post Op version for free roam challenges, LSDWP version for races
---
There will be free roam challenges so you all really, really need to be on your best behaviour for some of them, since it's such a faff replacing vehicles and losing the police. But I think this might be the most fun yet. Lots of choice! Also because of the nature of the Free Roam stuff, you can put armour or bulletproof tyres on your van for no extra cost - it doesn't count against the $33,000. The Boxville is an exception to the price limit because I want at least something similar to the LDV that James had in the Top Gear vans challenge. Feel free to re-watch it for ideas!
Predictions:
Jobbo: As you can see, I've done this properly. I bought a Bison, and given it off-road wheels. That's it.
Norfock: The Paradise is the answer. The question is what livery...
ZedLeg: I bought the Bobcat because I am secretly an American at heart.
leew92: The Journey was the only thing I could afford...
Easedlight: The Youga is very slightly on fire...
Glade: *trying to get the Boxville up Chilled* Why do I get the slow one every single challenge?
- The vehicle must be in the Vans class
- The vehicle plus all mods must cost less than $33,000

Being new to this I'm getting a little disheartened with the game online. As I'm only level 6 people don't want to do jobs with me, and upon joining the VBRJ clan I thought I would see a huge amount of people appear in the friends list? Do I need to add all of the people in the wiki manually as friends?

You can add us to your friends list (I'm 'wongshuis') or when your online you can access the crew via the pause menu and see who of us is online. callmedave said:

You can add us to your friends list (I'm 'wongshuis') or when your online you can access the crew via the pause menu and see who of us is online. This has reminded me of an issue I have with the game; there are so many random invites these days (particularly to heists) that I have no idea whether they come from crew members. There needs to be a legend to show you whether there's a connection to the person inviting you, so you can distinguish and discriminate what you accept.
