I hope you can make 1st person locked races, the off-road antics will look a lot different when crawling over the edge of a huge cliff trying to get to an awkwardly placed checkpoint biggrin

I suspect heists aren't going to be available from day one on the new gen version, after reading that laugh

Is anyone else feeling smug it runs at a solid 1080p on the PS4, where as the xbox has to dynamically scale?

Disclaimer: I might be thinking of Call of Duty.

Ps4 owner here. I think once you get the game on the move it doesn't really matter. All are great gaming experiences, so as such, not really feeling that smug.

Hello All,

Im quite certain current crew on the social club, will cross over and cover all platforms. Currently you can have members for both Xbox and PS3 in the same crew, they just only appear in their respective platforms.

From what I understand this will be the same on PS4, as this uses the same PSN you would have on PS3. So for the people in the PS3 crew, I dont think you have to change anything really. for the guys in the Xbox crew, you can stay in that one or come join the PS3 crew.

Either way there is no harm in joining the crew just incase. If you do make sure you add your PSN tag on the wiki and just leave a note here that you have sent a request.

Thanks

Character Transfer
You will need a Rockstar Games Social Club account linked to the console accounts used when previously playing GTA Online.

When entering GTA Online, you will be given the option to transfer your previous GTA Online character and progression data. Once you have chosen to transfer your previous character and progression data, the transferable in-game money, RP and Rank of all previous characters will be displayed. These are the characters that will be transferred to the PlayStation®4 or Xbox One. Once the transfer has completed, you will be prompted to choose a character and enter GTA Online.

You will still be able to play your existing characters on PlayStation®3 and/or Xbox 360, however any progress made with versions of the characters on those systems after a transfer will remain on those systems only. Any existing PlayStation®4 or Xbox One GTA Online character and progression data will be replaced by the previous character and progression data during the transfer, except for any existing in-game money, which will be combined with your transferred balance.

All earned in-game money will transfer. Purchased in-game money that has not yet been spent will only transfer within a console family (e.g. PlayStation®3 to PlayStation®4).
I'm currently tyrereviews and will be admiral_Benson_ on PS4.

I think it would be worth starting a new 'ps4 crew' although it could cross over, it will be a cuffufle, as I will still play GTA v on xbox 360 from time to time.

I don't wanna be crew leader. Does someone wanna start a crew?

Yes that makes perfect sense. I would be happy to start a new PS4 crew, which I will do on my lunch break today and will post link up here and GTA V players wiki.

'Pistonheads PS4'

as long as its not already taken.

Yeah I did say that. I dont mind either way really. Personally its easier just to keep the current ones for me.

Keep the current one, there's no need to change. Just makes it a pain for those of us with both systems.

If the crew transfers over what's the point in starting a new one? It'll just end up dividing the 300 or so members into two crews and confusing a load of folk. Not everyone reads these forums and they'll have no idea what's going on either.

The official trailer for current gen has been released!:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kFhkHFSytVU

There are some cut scenes in this that i dont recall from the orginial game, I wonder if there are new single player missions, and i wonder if the main story of the game deviates at all?

i have not yet pre-ordered a copy, where is doing a good deal for this? Im happy to wait a few days after release to play.
