A few of us raced in the week, having a sabre turbo doesn't equal race wins as the back ends quite loose, however in a straight line it's massively faster than the other muscle cars.

I don't think there are too many in the crew who haven't got one by now.

Consistency and not getting punted off at the start are still the key.

I quit out early, got bored of trying to wrestle with the Sabre.. I just don't think it suits my driving style, had my best race with the Tampa... not sure if i was lagging or not, but crafty somehow kept crashing into me ?!

I was able to get 4th-6th a few of times in my Blade, no way in hell I was able to keep up with DJ or Joyrider (or Panson if he had a good start). The Sabre definitely has a better top speed than the Blade (its ever so slightly depressing knowing there's nothing you can do as they speed past on a long straight) but I could keep up quite well.

Muscle cars are not broken with the new Sabre in my opinion.

Panson was getting near identical lap times to me (one was 0.001 different!) in a Dominator and Dukes

I won a race in my blade, Arkose's track that we did in the rain - that was a lot more suited to the blade - other than that, used the Sabre all the way through, had a great battle with DJ on that Paleto Bay track, pretty much side by side on one lap, I was seriously having to fight my Tourette's thumb

I've just gone through my recordings of the races, and annoyingly most of them are not complete.
I really wanted to watch the Paleto Bay race, that was awesome, both flat out side by side coming out of the last corner and then down the straight!

The first race is the only one that is complete, check out hitting the end of the rumble strips half way round the lap and then someone else doing it behind me straight after, and another one on the next corner!

That first track was a nightmare in the sabre, I flipped it off those rumble strips no end of times
