With all of these new updates I'm looking forward to getting back online!

Another 3 weeks or so and I'll be back online, racking up the air miles sorting the move back to Bangkok.

Kinda looking forward to getting back online in a few weeks myself (Sky in an effort to help me out dropped my line speed down to less then 2mb, so should be on a new provider in a month), the latest update looks like a good one, and the new cars seem like they might be worth the effort.

Is anyone up for sunday racing playlist tonight?

I could host and do Supers so people can try out their new ones. As they are all pretty balanced should get a good variety.

Yeah I would love to do another crew vs crew thing, although I think I would rather it be all racing as I don't think the majority of deathmatch stuff is all that great. But I'll take part.

Maybe the sunday after this one I might run an evening. With inspiration from Challenger and Cheshire this is the final idea.

-Teams of 3.
-3 cars: Elegy, Fusilade and Blista Compact.
-Only one person needs each car, everyone doesn't need a copy. (because of GTA mode)
-3 races, 1 race in each car (GTA Mode)

This is how the race works (after quite a lot of maths):

The slowest cars (Blista Compacts) start the race, the rest of the cars wait in a holding area just behind the start/finish line. When your team mate crosses in front of you the next slowest cars start (Fusilade). Then when ANY of the other two team mates next cross the line the fastest cars (Elegy) will enter the race.

Hypothetically, if everyone ran at a perfect testing pace everyone should finish at the same time.

Let me know if anyone is up for doing this, should be fun, everyone gets a go in each car and we don't actually have to buy many cars since only 1 of the team needs each car then we swap.

As with Challenger's race, I think we should do sponsors, so we can easily see who our team mates are when passing the start finish straight and get some great liveries.
I'm still gonna do this at some point, but will need to get quite a teams up for it for it to be good. Made a change of Fusilade to Armoured Kuruma, but otherwise the cars are the same.

Teams so far:

Team 1 - pansondowlington / cheshirecowboy / team goon
Team 2 - jobbo / crafty / mchat
Team 3 - eased / noelly / ?
Team 4 - joyrider / djdest / ?

sorry if i missed teams, but ill just add to this post if people want to join in

I'd be up for testing the T20 (my super) against the newer ones! Also still up for the three car race, just not when the Festival of Speed is on as I'm going to be knackered the same as Arkose

I'll make sure its not that weekend smile

For tonight, are people still bothering with Top Gear or can we start at 8ish?

Guys i have a question. In the new DLC, Does an 'associate' get the same pay when completing a delivery? or does this pay vary depending on size of shipment, players in lobby etc?

Selling crates? They basically get bugger all. It varies a bit, it seems, but I don't think you get more than about $10k.

Hey guys, sorry I flaked on joining you for the racing last night, just really wasn't feeling it for some reason. Hoping though I can get us together for this coming Sunday.

Just a reminder for everyone, it's going to be England (or the UK, depending on how many Scots join us) vs Germany. It's going to be a 6 v 6 playlist, of 7 events. Each crew picks 1 Deathmatch and 2 races - the Germans have already picked one Deathmatch, I think it's a Rockstar Verified one called Call of Paintball. They've said they're alright with us picking a crazy offroading one if they can pick a silly stunt/wallride one (though they've promised not to make it -too- frustrating). The tiebreaker will be a LTS in jets - Luftwaffe vs RAF round 2, if you will, only this time Dresden and Coventry aren't at risk.

So ideally by Wednesday so they can get some practice in, I need a vote about which Deathmatch we do, along with two choices of races. Everyone's free to suggest ones, though stick to R* Made and Verified DMs if you possibly can.

Also in terms of crew wear, the Germans say they're all going to wear the Team Heavy - Black outfit, so I think we should go with the Green or White ones. Thoughts?

Do the team outfits come with bullet-proof helmets? It would be a massive disadvantage if we weren't wearing those.
