Had a quick go on that track, Gauntlet got 1:39.333, Picador got 1:44.538. I'm sure with a bit of practice there's a second or two to be gained for both, but that is deffo a good track for the Picador - I think that long bit up the highway might cause a bit of carnage on the night though!

I got a 1:41.8 in the Gauntlet and a 1:43.8 in the Picador. Clearly there's more to come from the Gauntlet based on Joyrider's time but I'm not convinced there's enough of a gap. Could we try something faster than the Gauntlet?
Ruiner ? quite quick in a straight line and kind of ok in corners too...The rule I would want to keep is the cars be easy to obtain, and we all know the second we start looking for Ruiners is the second they go poof and we never see them again. What about Dominators or regular (non-Bennys) Sabre Turbos?
Edit: And cheap is another thing so I veto the Blade, Blackfin, and for ease of obtaining, the Dukes

I'm hitting 1.38s in the Dominator, I'm gonna make that the GT1 car instead. Just need to get some more average lap times for that and the Picador and we should have the right balance.
Edit: Watched your laps DJ, cracking stuff! This is why you're so feared in races!
Edit 2: So I was getting at best around a 1.46.4 in the Picador, but I'm fairly certain a 1.45 is possible if you get it clean. Are you guys happy with a 7s difference between the two?

I'm happy to go with whatever. Picador and Dominator would be good
I did a bit of maths
25 lap race, looking to change cars at lap 12/13
If we average lap times to 1:38.5 in a Dominator and 1:44 in a Picador at the end of lap 12 the Dominator is 60 seconds ahead of the Picador.
If we want to put a 5 lap window around it at Lap 10 the Dominator is 49.5 seconds ahead, at lap 15 its 1:17 ahead. So the Dominator driver sits and waits for somewhere between 27 and 49 seconds on change over.
Even if the Dominator does an average 1:36.5 the gap after lap 10 is 1:07.5, lap 15 its 1:45. One slip by either driver or one little clash with another driver will mean the changeover is screwed. Do keep in mind that most of this track isn't the best for overtaking, so getting past Picadors may be an issue.

why don't we just do 25 laps... change between 10-15 laps....
The point is that if we do that everyone needs to drive absolutely perfectly and all change on lap 15. If you don't do both, you'll end up sat around for 20+ seconds waiting for your buddy to turn up, which seems a bit rubbish to me.One driver has a little spin, you're screwed. Have a couple of moments ? screwed. Get hit by another driver ? screwed.
