sorry for all my lagging recently, I've just put a new hamster in the wheel so will see what happens now...
Yeh, all the above ideas for racing sounds good, I have the Raid truck...
Also, for the Rally Sportscars someone can even build a Rally spec Comet if they wish... sort of fits!
to add another car into the mix!
Also, later on when the DAKAR lorry is released we can do a bike / car / truck dakar relay type thing... with teams of three... i'm sure challenger can find a way this would work!

If we go by His Broughyness' table, the Omnis and Tropos actually belong in what we called Tier 3 sports cars, though at the bottom end. This would be:
Carbonizarre
Banshee
Coquette
Alpha
Verlierier
Kuruma (Normal)
Sultan (Normal)
Kurumas and Sultans would be good rally foils to the Omnis and Tropos.

The idea of a one make night for the fiats is good as well. That would be good with gnarly little street circuits.

Re fiats , I've still got a short track playlist where all tracks are under a mile and a half , that's if it hasn't been wiped as i add more playlists.
I've got running club tonight so probably not on until 9 , but can be earlier tomorrow.

Bought that desert raider thing for 695k (All my money gone now 
) and it don't half shift! rams over players in their cars like a train as well!!!!
Did a few of the stunt races last night. Took me 2 minutes to navigate the loop the loop successfully. Good fun though! Just need to build up some dosh again now.

I suspect the Desert Raid has some sort of advantage over the Trophy Truck which is not apparent at first - I don't usually have such a good run of wins and only lost the last one because I was cocking about and missed a checkpoint.
Kudos to Eased finding a playlist that suited those vehicles; if you'd done it on bikes or in something like the Dune Buggy or Bifta, I think it would have been far more frustrating.

yeh, it was some top racing last night! I think the Desert truck is a bit more planted than the Trophy, and maybe better at turning, I think it can handle the bumps better too...
I got a few videos.. i'll post them up, the golf course track was surprisingly good!
on that long track, my tactic was very much as the crow flys checkpoint to checkpoint! nothing got in the way... apart from a few rocks!

Very close finish with Jobbo here, I had a 13 second lead which I proceeded to lose through some daft mistakes (I seemed to be hitting everything last night!)
First off I had a bad jump and ended up in the path of everyone coming the other way
