Cheers Noel. They look fine, not like swapping the wheels on that supercar.

It's the same problem I had the the Tropos and trophy truck. When you take away the high profile tyre it doesn't look right.

Err, well last time I was on it I bought a Zentorno for half price.. After immediately selling the sultan rs when i bought it in the bennys update.

And I'm on XB1. Thread for it is not worth resurrection.

Nothing under $200k then? Any high paying missions to get back up to scratch?

Best and quickest way to raise cash is to grind good paying missions and vip work, then sell a car every 45 mins, preferably one of the blue or yellow sentinels that can be found around midnight to 4am

What DJ said.

And watch Broughy's videos before spending a fortune on a new car - the Lynx looks like a substantial waste of money. Been there, done that (not quite as expensively) with the Furore GT.

The Tampa Drift doesn't seem to be all that quick (would be good if it were in Muscle class) but is it fun to drive?

theres also some free race cars available too... Stallion etc...

i did a vip work thing the other night. got some cash from robbing a few stores and the chap who invited me got pretty much all the cash!?

I'm guessing it's doing the leg work and someone else reaps the benefit whilst doing sod all? not actually sure how it works.

no, they VIP/CEO is suppose* to start free roam "missions" (sightseer, etc... ) you get 20k + for completing these... and only takes a few mins... don't bother robbing stores / getting bounties as yes, they get the cash.. (but you get a wage from them every 15mins or so..)

If you are Hired as an associate you get a starting wage of $6k every ~15 minutes. Each successful sale puts your wage up by $500. I dont know if there is a cap to this.

As a CEO you have to purchase the crates and you get the full amount of the sale, but you have to buy the warehouse and the office initially.

VIP missions is another good earner, but with the time delay in between missions you could go and buy a few crates and repeat.

I don't think the CEO thing is worth it.

You need to spend at least $1.25m just to be able to start earning money. You have to collect crates and drop them off in public sessions, which has the risk of muppets interfering and losing you money/crates. For some you will need help to do them.

Has anyone worked out how long it takes to recoup the initial investment after buying office/warehouse and crates? I think you need to be playing a lot to make it work.

I reckon you are much better off in invite/crew sessions, sign up to be a vip and do the headhunter/sightseer things. It costs nothing to do, can easily be completed on your own with no risk of interference. It may only last for 4 hours but that's pleary enough. I earnt $1m in that time when ranking up my 2nd character. As others said sell cars and do missions in the dead time.

Your vip/CEO gets 90% of what you earn in free roam, so robbing someone, selling cars, doing the freemode challenges (like fly upside down or criminal damage etc) mostly goes to them.

I've been splitting my time doing VIP work and selling crates. I really need to make some money but I keep getting distracted by the stunt races laugh.

These seem to be the best in regards to ease/speed/payout:

Titan of a job
Los Santos Connection
Extradition

There are a few others that escape me at the moment.
The key to not rush them is still the same, for max payout

Crafty has a point that the CEO crate work is difficult and not necessarily well rewarding (though I've apparently made over 6m from it, which I think covers my warehouse and office) but actually buying the office (which allows you to upgrade from VIP to CEO) is pretty worth it in my opinion, especially from lower levels. I was helping Team Goon with this earlier.

To become a VIP you need a bank balance of at the least $1m. The cheapest way to become a CEO is have the cheapest Office with absolutely no upgrades whatsoever. That's $1m. In return for becoming a CEO, it allows you to have an unlimited contract instead of 4 Hours, and start and end it whenever you like. When we were only able to do VIP work, it was pretty much an unspoken rule you don't go below $1m because then you can't do the work. By putting that $1m into a solid real estate that allows you to do it endlessly, I think it's more effective.

Crafty is right about the crates that they're not necessarily useful unless you are a hardcore player like me - I think that's what Rockstar intended, for people to have a new way of making money that's different each time if they spend a lot of time online. I like the crate jobs because I get bored easily of doing the same jobs over and over again. But I can understand them being frustrating and not much fun to do on your own if you're only a casual player. But I recommend shooting to get an office so you don't worry about dipping below $1m again. It also allows you to get unlimited snacks from your assistant, so no need to go to convenience stores any more.

In terms of making money, it's still a grind - always has, always will be. But just playing the game (doing races, daily objectives, occasional free mode events) and not thinking about spending stuff and you can slowly make up money. Even just doing a bunch of stunt races can help.

Pretty much what challenger said. I got bored of doing the dailys/selling cars grinding because it starts to feel like a job and you have to give up a garage to sentinels.

With the ceo stuff I grind the vip missions and collect crates in cooldown time. For me it means I can spend a bit of time grinding for cash if I need to without it having to be something I need to keep in mind all the time I'm playing. Also as challenger says you have more flexibility in doing the VIP as you don't have the time limit/cooldown and you can spend all your money without worrying that you'll drop out of VIP territory, like I've just done laugh.
