I've been splitting my time doing VIP work and selling crates. I really need to make some money but I keep getting distracted by the stunt races .
I'm the same, the stunt races have made the racing on GTA much more enjoyable - yes you still have to have a fully modded car to stand a chance but it only take a minor mistake and you're falling to a fiery death.ZedLeg said:

If that was me I am sorry, as I know I wiped out somebody yesterday in the cross over bit, tried to apologies but think my headset has died.As for the CEO stuff I love it as I prefer the style of work and I have nearly got back the 2mill I spent to start it.
The CEO stuff is pretty good if you work fair for the associates.
I did x3 crates, head hunter, point-to-point, x3 crates, sightseer, point-to-point and repeat.
In an evening of grinding, I got about $3.6m and the associates got $2.8m
Don't forget that a CEO can build up the crates slowly one at a time while playing solo. I'm currently filling x2 large warehouses as my associates wont be online till the weekend now.

Exactly how many hours are in your evenings?!I can't see how the associates got anywhere near your earnings, either. Their only earnings would be from Headhunter/Sightseer and salary, unless I'm misinterpreting your reference to point to point (races?)
ETA: if there were no cooldown timer and you just did Headhunter followed by Sightseer, your associates would make about $250,000 per hour (this is not possible due to the cooldown, it's just a theoretical max). So an 11+ hour evening?

To become a VIP you need a bank balance of at the least $1m. The cheapest way to become a CEO is have the cheapest Office with absolutely no upgrades whatsoever. That's $1m. In return for becoming a CEO, it allows you to have an unlimited contract instead of 4 Hours, and start and end it whenever you like. When we were only able to do VIP work, it was pretty much an unspoken rule you don't go below $1m because then you can't do the work. By putting that $1m into a solid real estate that allows you to do it endlessly, I think it's more effective.
Provided you are going to play more than 4 hours in any 24 then yes maybe the office is worthwhile, if you aren't its pointless, keep the money in the bank and VIP it, if you decide you really do want to spend some of the $1m you can do so. Its dead money if you've bought an office.Doing the VIP stuff does get boring, just like doing the same missions over and over or picking up crates etc. The best thing to do is only do repetitive missions / crates / VIP jobs etc when you feel like it.
So, if the second lot of cars are a bit crap whats the next update ?
Will try and get on at some point, was at Dragstalgia the weekend so wasn't around.
whoever is the host of the heist pulls their network connection as the boat goes under the bridge at the end. Everyone else gets paid out, host gets nothing but they can come back online and re-run it. Not done it but its been around for ages. The exact moment the plug should be pulled is quite critical I understand. Its basically relying on lag so that the other players don't realise the host is gone and their machine pays out.
You need a crew to run the pac standard finale, the host quits out right at the end and if it works right the rest of the crew keep their share. You keep running it over and over to grind cash. The problem is that for everyone to get the most out of it you need four people with the finale ready to go and the patience to grind it. Meh.

Why has the Pacific standard heist glitch that myself and another poster has mentioned been completely disregarded? $1m every 40mins for each player is surely better than grinding VIP work or collecting crates, no?
Because it's a glitch? You can buy an account with hundreds of millions of dollars for not much real money if that's all you want. Jobbo said:

The point-to-points are Associate challenges, $10.5k for the winner, which I let them win.
So I bought a CEO office, first question is does she?
I started in a private session, then selected find new session, lumped me into a public session, then 5 minutes into that it dumped everyone else out, leaving me in a 'public' session with no-one else, great oppotunity to grind some cases without any threats.
Alternated between VIP and crates, built up a nice little stock in a couple of hours

But only one person can win, not all of them, so point-to-points are not a worthwhile earner. The point-to-points are Associate challenges, $10.5k for the winner, which I let them win.
Your figures still don't stack up; bearing in mind my theoretical max earnings for associates would be reduced by the time you spend collecting crates and the point-to-points, I think your figures are rather optimistic

Top Gear Challenge next Saturday, so stay tuned for that. More details to come later in the week. On the other hand, GOOD NEWS in the fact I've found someone who's made car football so I say we have a go at that tomorrow?
I'd be down for that tried one a while back with mini's but whoever designed it did a half arse job and it just turned into a DM with pistols....
