My couple of recordings from Sunday night:

Race 2: https://youtu.be/GBAcvrPqxyU - because I did very badly and finished under the track.
The Abarths race: https://youtu.be/WXUEz2kcbbk - nice dices with Wilkibob and Glade, then Cheshire taking me out on the final corner having spun of his own accord ahead (from about 6:50).
The next race: https://youtu.be/MQJRQOmlKq8 - shared specifically for the blatant take-out by Cheshire from about 1:35. Oh, and the massive amount of kerb-boosting (listen to the engine note change).
I'm sorry but you took yourself out in that final link by moving across the front of me. Watch my car - I'm holding a straight line, then steering away from your car as you go across the front of me, If I had been pitting you, my car would have been moving left. At absolutely no point did I have the intention of doing anything other than trying to draw alongside you.

As for the Abarths race, I will upload my footage tonight. That one was indeed my fault, but in my defence, the camera angle when I'd spun meant I had no idea you were coming so it was a genuine accident.

I'm so pleased you want an argument about it, Cheshire biggrin

In the supers race, if you watch the corner before, I actively gave you space when you came past me; that's not unreasonable because you'd got a better drive and were ahead. Where you took me out, you had loads of space to the right, I was clearly giving you room rather than cutting across and the racing line was to the right. It's incumbent on the car behind not to hit the one in front. ETA: watching it again, you didn't bother running to the kerb on the exit and deliberately tried to stay left, even though I'd have been very obvious on your screen. If anyone agrees with your view that it's my fault, I'd be most interested to know.

Despite which, while you totally messed up my chance of winning you destroyed your own chances even more. So by being an arse, you came off worse.

I think the Abarth accident was Jobbos fault.... he should've known you will be moving forward (and not reversing) and gone the other way around you!

laugh

soapbox

edit : also the super one was a racing incident in my books.... both of you had room either side! (the game physics don't help that a gentle bit on contact makes you spin)

I have a video of that race with a few incidents... i can post up in a bit!

By putting up videos what do you thinks going to happen ?

It's a computer game , if you don't win the sunday races so what.

It's a game it counts for absolutely zero.

Cheshire was going to put his own video up, but I suspect it's too damning so he'd rather criticise mine laugh

It wasn't me that suggested putting up videos in the first place. Winding him up is fun, and he asked for it laugh

I think a lack of supporting evidence in the form of video footage confirms guilty as charged.
No further questions your honour.

Word.

However if anyone wants my opinions....

Although I think cheshire causes a load of accidents with some careless driving. I actually would let him off these two.

Brioso race: the way he span round, it wouldnt surprise me if the camera was still pointing forwards and he genuinely didnt see you. and their ain't much he can do anyway, he span on the racing line, if he reversed, you could have theoretically been trying to go round him and another accident caused. potential lose lose for all concerned.

Supers race: he is going straight on but i think this is just unlucky. defo not a deliberate pit manoeuvre. wouldnt surprise me if on his screen he didnt even hit you either. i reckon alot of the accidents that we all moan about are due to close racing with imperfect signal connection.

Anyway if we were to assume the first was deliberate, after the argument that happened afterwards would he dare to do it again after pleading innocence. nope. both racing incidents in my mind.... but he shouldnt have span the brioso amateur... haha

Glad to see some common sense has prevailed. Thanks everyone smile

As I said and as Panson surmised, I was blind to oncoming traffic during my spin, and reversing would have made no sense anyway.

https://youtu.be/c0BDBI9vuLs

And you know what? I get caught out by a recovering car about 2 or 3 times a night - it's alays a gamble on how to avoid them and sometimes it doesn't pay off. Do I make a fuss about it? No, because suggesting that spinners should let absolutely everyone past first would be extremely unfair.

As for the RE7 crash - what do you mean I should have moved over? You already had 2/3 of the track width to play with, exactly how much more did you want?
At best this was a racijg incident, as said not helped by the GTA minor collision physics. At worst, entirely your fault for wanting to have your cake racetrack and eat it

How many times do you complain on Sundays after someone knocks into you?

On a lighter note, I scraped together the cash to buy and mod an ETR1 by selling cars I never use and duplicates on my 2nd character.
I'm now down to about 50k, so better start earning laugh

The grip on that thing is just utterly bonkers!
There are corners on OTH Club that a few cars can go round just by lifting off rather than braking, but this goes round them flat out eek
Current lap times, and I know its got a little more to give yet:

RE-7B 1:24.567
ETR1 1:24.619
T20 1:29.848
Tyrus 1:30.855
811 1:32.620

Not wanting to stir this any further but if you really believe that then you should record yourself while you're playing. You're obviously having blackouts from the rage or something laugh.

(at the end of the day)

I don't think any one intentionally takes someone out... yes, there might be a few clumsy late braking wipe outs but everyone does that at some point...

I always record the races just incase there is any worth watching or funny bits. It's easy enough to just double tap the share button on the grid and when you cross the line. Then you don't even need to crop or edit them, just hit upload

Now I've watched this, I'll blame Arkose - if he hadn't punted you off on the previous corner, you wouldn't have been there by the time I got caught by your spin recovery. Fair enough that you couldn't see me; from my viewpoint it looked impossible to go behind you but that's not at all apparent from your view. Though to be fair, you could see that you hit me and rather than waiting (which is what I do when I hit people by accident) you overtook me to take the place. So you're guilty of bad manners wink

As for the next race, you haven't even put up your video defence despite being the one who suggested it. You're aware there's a racing line, aren't you? I didn't have two thirds of the track and I was quite clearly ahead. Fortunately you then messed up like a noob so taking me out harmed your race more than mine.

ETA: and as I said on the mic last night, I'm just annoyed that you managed to pit me before I got the chance to do it to you laugh
