Wicked, very physical - hard work!!
It's when you don't see someone coming and get launched off your feet with no warning!

Great racing tonight, really enjoyed it - here's the last race, do I get extra points for such a spectacular start? smile

I'm online with this now, bought it early as it's pissing down in Melbourne and not much else to do!

I'm not much of a racer, will have to get some practice in judging by the videos posted.

I've uploaded my close finish with DJ: https://youtu.be/rs4PfmgYIdg

I think I went from last to nearly first in that race so everyone will be in it at some point.

The racing last night was probably some of the best races I've ever had fun wise, lots of close racing with everyone swapping places.
I think everyone loved it, we will definitely have to do them again with more people, the same playlist and a couple more laps per race.
Race 4 really summed up the feeling of all of the races, and had an interesting finish laugh

Or, that short race with something like 30 laps would be brilliant fun!

I'm really annoyed that for some reason all of my recordings didn't start until half or towards the end of the race even though I started them on the grid frown
Some only saved about 30 seconds, so I didn't bother with them.
It's a shame I've not got any of the one that went down near the beach/helipads as I think that was one of the best for close racing.
This is all I've got...

Race 3 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4yCDY2xMqrs
Race 4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OTZddfwFV8w

I saved the H200 stunt race we did after which had some close battles

Anyone else using Chrome and not able to use Youtube properly? The buttons to pause, play etc don't work despite the video playing normally. Works in incognito mode. Annoying.

And I'm amused that my slide on the final corner was completely invisible to you - from my angle you can see we were almost in sync laugh

The little Bariso is such fun to drive. I have no idea how you guys drive them so fast.

me @ 1:25 laugh

I think i hit the kerb... then over corrected!

I think the cars are better on "constant radius" corners like on the stunt tracks... if that makes sense ?? you can carry more speed around them!

I also need to upgrade my engine fully for next time!

Looks like I missed some good fun over the weekend. I'm struggling to get on when the rest of you are on just now frown.

Brake early, don't touch the throttle until you're almost straight.

I also tried tapping the throttle during a corner but, while it was quicker it was less reliable over random bumps and kerbs.

I found that it's quite handy if you brake early then power through the corners. Although that was on stunt tracks which are smoother.

It was the bumps that kept catching me out, so I couldn't get a consistent lap.

Kinda hoping we can get some tight twisty but smooth tracks with the new creator tomorrow.

The kerbs are a killer - need to make sure you're not turning or on the power until your wheels hit terra firma again. They do give a good boost to the Brioso though, so being patient and using them is still quicker than avoiding them...

I've never really figured out this kerb boosting thing, might explain why I'm so slow laugh.

Part throttle through corners helps too, and is worth mastering for all cars.
Then when you come out of a corner and put the power on you have less chance of spinning or sliding because its already got some drive, plus its obviously faster than coasting round
