I guess there are Spectrum games I played in the mid 80s which I've played again quite a few times since I discovered emulation around 1999 but certainly nothing I've spent as much time playing as GTA V. Or continuously.

To think I just wondered what the hype was all about on here so nipped out and got it on launch weekend.

A few of us were saying last night it would be good to race slightly st sportscars so we can race the quatro , stratos, drift tampa.

Going by the lord almighty of gta anything that does 1.06 or more around cutting corners :

verellier , banshee , carbonizzare,alpha, omnis, tropos ,coquette, lynx, sultan,buffalo, kuruma, tampa, khamelion, furore gt - there are loads to pick from.

The verellier is fine to pick , we've used broughys spreadsheet results many times in the past and it works well to seed cars .

Don't include Anaconda is my only request. Hateful trying to learn every corner of such a long track to set a time

I like the one male races we do, I think it would be a hard sell to convince some to spend $2mil on a car they might not be fussed about though . We could rerun one of the ones we've done before, Sentinels or Schwarzers or something.

I was going to fix that typo but I decided to leave it as is.

For naff car races how about:

Muscle - Ruiner
Sedans - Stratum
Sports - Sprunk Buffalo
Sport Classic - Tornado
SUV - FQ2
Compacts- Prairie
Coupes - F620

The idea being they are all nickable off the street (except the Buffalo, but that should be free for most). They are all reasonably quick too (bar the Tornado but all other alternatives are $$$).

We did a bit of testing in the cars, the Verlierer is going to trounce the rest of them on pretty much all bu the last track, its just too fast.

Suggest its dropped from the list, if it isn't there is little point in racing anything else.
