I keep seeing people floating round the track, hitting stuff and then magically reappearing in front of me, or sometimes coming off track, then appearing right next to me and wiping me out, whats that all about?

Lag, usually their connection unless everyone's doing it when it's probably you. Impossible to deal with though!

Note to self: when doing versus missions, 3 rounds does not mean you will play it 3 times....

Anyone else having massive problems getting/staying online? Tried joining between 8pm - 1am yesterday and kept getting booted off when joining jobs. Also it wouldn't put me on a server with any crew members

Managed to do 3 races with a noob that tried to ram me off the road (won of course :P), then it crashed again when doing a 20-person race. Felt the controller vibrate as they all started and rammed into me... had to DC.

Don't think it's my connection as Watchdog's works fine and my other devices very rarely disconnect

I have the odd problem, but nothing too bad.

There is a new patch out, bug fixes for stability it says, might make a difference.

I just signed into social club on the PS4 and I think it might have deleted all my PS3 online data... even though I went through the character transfer settings.

Those who have done it, does it take time to transfer or did you get your old character instantly?

I don't think it was instant, Jon. In Social Club though, you need to select PS4/PS3 (or XBox One/360) in the relevant place sort of top right; it only shows Snapmatic pics and jobs for the selected platform and it wouldn't surprise me if it only shows character data for that platform too.

[Fast Bug]

I had problems last night, I kept getting booted off. Did a job, banked my cash and got kicked off, rejoined and no cash or RP.

I did manage to stay on long enough for someone to put a bounty on me as I escaped when they tried to kill me...

Be interesting if it's more stable on xbox or it's just rockstars servers in general that are st.

I'm pretty sure there was a similar scene on ps3 last night with Jim, Ned and Lee. Unfortunately I couldn't get to the scene quick enough to witness/capture it.
