Alien: Isolation
Discussion
I kept it after finishing the main game early this year, I'm planning to play the season pass content whilst off over xmas.
Bought the season pass when it was on offer on the PSN. Great game though, I will probably end up wanting to play the main game through again after doing the dlc!

Resurrecting an old thread but... I just downloaded this at the weekend as it is on Game pass at the moment, playing on the PC version. Visually it is still a good looking game for something coming up 6 years old.
Haven't had any 'new pants required' situations just yet but have only just met the Alien for the first time, reading back through this thread it would seem that the action starts here
It is a refreshing change with it not being a FPS at all and quite the opposite, with very limited combat and sneaking around and hiding in lockers.
I would recommend it for any with game pass at the moment

I'm really enjoying Game pass, had it since March/April, currently enjoying OuterWorlds but Alien:Isolation is downloaded and ready to play next.Haven't had any 'new pants required' situations just yet but have only just met the Alien for the first time, reading back through this thread it would seem that the action starts here

Although after State of Decay, I welcomed the reduce "stress" of OuterWorlds, seems like Aliens will take me back there
The thing about State of Decay was a character can die and is then lost from the game and you need to switch to a different one, made it really tense when hit by a zombie swarm. Curious how Aliens will feel in comparison.

Started playing this on the Xbox after coming across this thread,
...oh my ... what a stressful game to play, I think I'd have a heart attack if playing on VR.
It's a bit like a roller coaster, happy when I get past a particular part but heart is beating up until then

I'm 43 and watched Alien at a real young age. Scared to me death and the fear is still embedded there. So Alien Isolation for me was a seriously sweaty palm moment. I creeped round the whole game on hard mode. Not using the motion tracker, just the map and my wits. Died an incredible amount of times. Loved it.

You count playing hours in Alien Isolation as the amount of time you spent hidden in a locker.I'm 43 and watched Alien at a real young age. Scared to me death and the fear is still embedded there. Aliens scared me when I watched it in my early years too. Remember liking the bits with the personal carrier vehicle and the big guns but the fear stayed for a while.
Found out recently that even hiding in a locker is now stressful too
Must congratulate the designers/directors, the music is ace and creates tension, also the Alien is badass.
My nerves allowed me to complete another section, got to play as another character for a bit which was cool/clever.
Think I'm half way through now.
Got killed whilst on the computer terminal yesterday :-O
