The old Abarth is so amusingly slow. A friend and I lined up for a drag race at the airport – me in the Abarth, him in the VW Beetle. I crossed the speed cameras (after a full runway's worth of run-up) at 73mph, him at 76.

Then we turned around and a guy in a Supra and Veyron howled past us head-on – it sounded and felt incredible!

I've had some fun in that Abarth tonight. 1.4 turbo conversion with tuning, tyre and suspension mods to make it a top of the B class car. Oh, and with a five speed gearbox and Integrale wheels!
