yes As a fan of the Battlefield series, almost everyone on the official Battlelog forums wishes they would've held back on releasing the game until all the bugs were worked out. Instead, now EA and Dice have a lot of pissed-off former customers. That being said, my experience with BF4 has been an overwhelmingly positive one, apart from a few hiccups when they release DLC.

When you think about it, the developers of PCars would likely be lambasted if they released it in November and it had a few bugs. It's a case of, "damned if they do; damned if they don't". I don't envy game developers' jobs!
See the quote above by the Project Director Andy Garton - it has also been delayed to not coincide with so many other game releases. Frustrating as I've little interest in buying anything else for the PS4 and I'd rather catch Ebola than play Driveclub (their advertising is beyond cringe-worthy).

@Slightly Mad Studios - if by any chance you need another tester (any platform) please drop me a PM! wink

I know people get pissed at wheel talk in this thread but I don't think this is worthy of another thread...

Does any know if the Thrustmaster T100 is a decent enough wheel to enjoy PCARS? The T80 looks ste and the T300RS is way too expensive? If the T100 isn't that good I think I will stick to Pad and see what I can get from the game.

I've not used the T100 however, I suspect you will enjoy PCars with any wheel over a pad.

I read a couple of reviews that say the T80 has no feedback at all other than a bungy cord. I think I would prefer the feedback from a Dual shock for a while and look at wheel options later down the road when I have some more spare cash.

T300 is too new to know whether it is flaky like other more budget Thrustmaster wheels (which can get notchy). The T500 is meant to be the best but not completely supported by PS4 and a few years old now. The T300 will accept the add-ons like the T500 - F1 wheel etc.

By May theres bound to be alternatives available. Either that or they will be discounting them smile

Also, re: delays, don't forget you have been able to enjoy it in one form or another for a few years now on the PC. wink

I saw the quote and I respect their honesty, but I also agree with you. This is literally the only game I'm looking forward to on PS4 until (if) GT7 ever comes out. I don't care for act-out-you-gang-banger-fantasy games or futuristic alien shoot-em-ups.

Just had another crack having had no time for the last three weeks, it is coming along very nicely indeed. The daily updates are getting smaller now so it does appear to be tweaking, the FFB is being worked on and is progressing really well.

The two noticeable bits recently are just how good the cars look in the external replays, and by that I mean how they move about under various loads and the tyres and suspension reacting to the bumps and corners, it looks brilliant and that you can tell it is a sophisticated package underneath.

The second is the sound, chase cam and static tv cams sound as good as I have ever heard, lovely wobbles and distant role offs, if anyone has the pre release, just drive about in chase cam in the zonda cinque, it howls just like it should to the point off uncomfort if you have it on loud, the v10 Audi sounds good as well.

For the PC at least, it will be worth the wait.

If anyone, like me, can never get Monaco right, Rene Rast is worth a watch having a crack..

He's pretty good isn't he?.. I love that little detail of going around that bump out of casino.

So long as the car handles correctly in the different weather conditions i'll be happy. Not overly fussed if the weather effects dont look 100% correct graphicly.

Mostly it's the fact the rear flaps work on the gran turismo one, the rest I'd pretty much the same.
