I think it drives really well, the handling seems to be even better than previous games.

Anybody "won" anything decen yet?

I've won a fiesta St, Lexus IS? And a lotus formula 1 car so far.

Tried online play earlier, and the only hoppers I saw were a C class with no collisions, for beginners,a D and A clss,a drift,a drag and a Tag one. But couldn't get into any. So hopefully the lack of decent mulytttiplayer is down to day one glitches, but if that is all there is then they have really fked up multiplayer

Liking the game so far smile only real glitch I've come across is the turbo upgrades on the BTCC Audi S3 seem to drop the power and PI - not that I'm complaining, as it drops it down into A class, where it's rather good for twisty tracks!

If anyone's hanging around in the drift lobbies, my gamertag is Mattyvole. smile

How much better than Forza 5 is it?

4 was amazing and still played today. Didn't rate 5 at all and how 6 is a return to form.

This game is making me want to punch Richard Hammond in the face, can I turn him off like you can with Ben Collins (in Project Cars)?

Idris Elba is a good addition though smile
confused It's not Idris Elba. Mark Healy is the male voice actor, Rebecca Riedy is the female voice actor.

Veyron and a million dollars on first 2 spins. Crap since then.

I find the cars a lot more loose on the tracks. Rear wheel drive especially.

One thing I am noticing is there is not a lot of penalty for off track antics except a dirty time and online with collisions is a joke at the moment. The amount of idiots encountered last night was crazy.

I'm afraid online idiots are the norm on any new Forza game. I've not noticed any treacle when shortcutting either, but it's early days.

How have people got it early?! Or is it the demo, that people are referring to?

Anyone else having an issue with the sound? The car I'm driving is so quiet (engine/exhaust) noise. All I can here is the other cars on track and not the one I'm driving.

Apart from that it's fun so far.

I've not played since 4 but am a big racing sim (game) fan. I've been through all the GT's, and most of the PC sims (Assetto Corsa probably being what felt like the best to me, the road going Ferrari 430 was just as it is in real life. Although Project Cars was close enough but more with polish. And I really enjoyed that. I play the PC stuff on a projector, with a G25 and in a Playseat so, by how much I've invested, you get the idea how much I like my racing games! ; ) and found this version of Forza really, really good.
Even with the pad (and on a TINY 50" telly ; ) the cars felt very much like a sim should. The RX7 I drove was a devil to drive fast, very unforgiving to the point that it wasnt even fun; so it's quite far from an arcade racer, and that's what I enjoy. And the graphics are lovely.

That said, whilst I've not seen the rain effects yet they'll have to go some way to beat Project Cars. And they're not dynamic!!! In PC you could find a drying line, or watch the sun rise through the morning mist. Took me right back to endure racing go-karts or tooling around on a wet track day. F6 has missed a trick by not implementing dynamic weather and time.

Great thanks for that - justifying that Xbox one purchase!

Haha. Do it. I've got a PS4 and there's very little between them. The Xbox joypad is much better than the PS4, too.

If you can get Project Cars on the cheap, well worth a look.

Don't forget that the only people playing it are the ones that paid loads for the ultimate edition, most people will probably just get the normal version.

Do the rewards earned in the demo carry over to the full game? I've already earned silly amounts in there plus the forza hub rewards, I miss forza 4 where you started in a vw fox and had to work up!
