I presume they lose it next year so T10 can use it-I bet Porsche are pissed that they cant get in the biggest driving franchise.
Or maybe its a 1 shot deal as in FM4 & FH2
My understanding is that it is in perpetuity - certainly they've have the licence since Need For Speed Porsche 2000, which was nearly 16 years ago. I guess Porsche never realised how much it would be worth.

Annoyingly, there is no provision for clubs in FM6(same as was in 5). Stupid really as clubs were a great feature.
Think you just have to add people here as friends and do private races, possibly a PH racing series.

mpm1987 I found something else about the wheel when u power up the wheel will rotate both ways too calibrate it self after that u need too press both pedals down three times too the max not at the same time too calibrate them as well before u click on the game if you don't any small movement thinks it's being pressed at 100per sent so rwd car are undriveable because it thinks u want full power all the time could be the same if u do not u abs as well I try this sometime today and i'll see how I get on. alan

Maybe a short post with all the FM6 usernames in it would be a good idea?

My gamertag is the same as my PH username

Was thinking it's about time we organised a race night / series.... What about a Clio race?? there are 4 different versions so a bit of choice. C500 and a horse power cap to stop any rocket powered efforts... Only driven the 2010 RS so it could be a particularly crap idea...

Will start another thread shortly if there's enough people up for it

I'm on there as SpeedMatters.

On a side note I've had a bit of time on the career mode and can only summarise it as rubbish. No points, leaderboard or mini league to progress. Just finish third or above. It seems like a missed opportunity to do something really special but they seem to be caught up in using that to simply get new cars to race online (which is fine) but calling it a career is wide of the mark. I look forward to the online stuff with you guys though.

I find it a bit pants as well.

If I am struggling on a certain track I normally find my self smashing through the first corner just to give myself a chance of finishing top 3. Otherwise I am essentially "stuck" frown

On a better note, I upgraded and tuned a GTR last night. Stripped it out, lightweight wheels, lowered it, upgraded the brakes, full aero, widened the tyres and gave it a tiny power hike. Dropped the tyre presseures, dropped the ride height slightly, maximised the aero for cornering, tweaked the diff to a set up I was running in 5 and the results, well, lets just say the car "fitted like a glove". Absolutley perfect, sounds terrific as well and looks mean as hell in a BMW style Frozen Grey matte paint cloud9

either I need to learn how to drive (I'm generally top 5% and if I borrow someones tune top 1% in rivals) or they need to fix this thing with the front running cars having mega speed. Really spoiling it for me. I have to smash through everyone on the first lap or have no chance. or put it on easy which is then pointless.
Was doing the moments in motorsport showcases last night and every one it started me 24th/24. I could fairly cleanly get my way up to 3rd after 3 laps but then 1st and 2nd are 10 secs down the road with 2nd lapping 2 secs quicker than I can manage and 1st another 2 secs on him. and this is on Pro not Unbeatable. Trying not to sound big headed but there is no way im more than 5 secs off the pace and as has been mentioned before if I go all brutal and crash though to 3rd by the end of the 1st lap then 2nd and 1st are still there for the taking and generally lap 1-2 secs slower than me once overtaken.

Difficulty also seems to vary wildly depending on what type of car you are driving. most of the road based stuff and the less grippy cars I can win with easily but move up to the proper race cars and I'm a lot less compeitive

Obtaining credits is stupidly easy, I've done four races and have 1.1 million in the bank. Part of the appeal of previous instalments was having to work for the rewards.... Not sure about the career structure..loving it otherwise.

I have noticed this too. Did a le mans prototype race the other day and comfortably got to third by the first chicane on the mulsanne but 2nd and 1st place were just gone. Ended up 4000ft behind them with 4th place 2000ft behind me! Doing this on 'pro' difficulty.

As you say, taking it down a notch and you just breeze straight to the front and off into the distance without any competition.

Hi Guys, please add me a a friend - my GT is the same as my username and I have already added a few of you guys already.

Coming from Pcars I initially thought FM6 was all over the place with the physics and tail happy handling but Im getting used to it now and having great fun. Its a real challenge to be smooth and quick without assists.
