Annoyingly,FH3 has the Mk II Jag, which would be great in FM6 with its racing heritage!
Maybe in FM7

I'm late to the game, literally.

I loved Forzas 1 to 4, loved them.

Then I bought the kids a PS4 when the second 360 expired so no more Forza and I didn't bother at all with the PS4, I've never even personally switched the thing on.

A few years pass and the the Xbox one has come down to a reasonable price so I bought the youngest one for his birthday last week. In the shop, I saw it, cheap too, Forza 6.

Last night I finally got the chance to have a go of F6 and have to say I'm hugely disappointed by it. There seems to be a massive emphasis on painting your car, why on earth would anyone want to do that?

But what is far far worse is the fact that the "overall" leaderboard is no longer there. What is the point of omitting such a vital bit of the game. For me that is the only reason to play it.

After many, many hours of Forza 4 I managaed for a brief period to get into the top 50 on the overall leaderboard which I was very pleased with. Forza 6 without this is just another game that you play for the sake of playing a game which is pointless.

I'm really cheesed off having waited two to three years since F4. I could put up with the mind bogglingly long load times and general crapness if only F6 had an overall leaderboard.

I only pissed about with it for a hour last night and may have missed it, but it I could not.

The positive is I suppose that I'm not going to waste what will be a few months trying to ascend.

The worst thing about Forza 6 by a mile is the AI. The first few laps are absolute carnage, and on tracks like Long Beach there is always a first corner pile up.

Sounds like a pretty realistic depiction of your average Forza lobby to me

I thought the AI in F6 was really good when I played single player. I can't remember the last game where you could customise the AI to give a truly challenging experience.

The AI in F6 makes Gran Turismo AI look like lemmings.

Leaderboards are there, have you tried looking in the rivals bit?

Thanks for that Will,

The per track, per car class leaderboards are there.

In F4 (and previous versions as far as I can remember) what exists is an amalgamation of all the leaderboards into one overall and combined leaderboard which shows your overall position. That I cannot or could not find in F6.

Its no longer there, you can just see for the track & car class, not the class as a whole
Same with car clubs, no longer there
And the auction house

A lot of good things taken out(but weirdly back in FH3, so hope for FM7) but still a good game, especially online with a good lobby
Weekly leagues can be fun, albeit biased towards the powerful cars
