It really, really ramps up from midway of episode 2.

The themes it deals with (and the way it does) is not something I think I have encountered in a game before.
I wonder if the developer being french has anything to do with it? It's remarkably frank in what it does, not hindered by any judgemental overtones - It allows you to do that.

You only get the quote if you have answered incorrectly / made her take a step back on a previous bit. You only need to get two 'wrong' - e.g not answer her phone or support her going to the police - and she'll jump.
