Halo 5: Guardians

I liked the feel of the game at first but the more I play it the more I'm starting to hate it.
Also the sensitivity is really strange, you need to turn it up to make your turn rate anywhere near quick enough but then it makes your ADS crazy fast. It kind of feels like really bad input lag, but I don't get that problem with anything else.

Just finished the story line ,good story but shockingly short, mission nine is a joke.
Multiplayer is excellent especially war Zone! Good fun and absolute chaos!
Ahhh sounds not good, i love the story and playing it co-op with others but don't venture PVP much with Halo. Multiplayer is excellent especially war Zone! Good fun and absolute chaos!
if the story is that short I may wait until it's cheaper
So short is short? I don't play for hours and hours on a night. But if it's like done in 4 hours I May not buy it
Just installing this now, I had hoped there would be much more noise about this titan of a release. Having followed Halo from the start, my good friend who is now about to hit 50 is on his way over to have a crack at this. He hasn't got an XB1 yet,no funds and he is so desperate to play this. Its a shame his wife has bought him an XB1 and H5 for Christmas as a surprise but she wont relent and let him have it early!
Women hey? My wife bought me the XB1 at launch, on Christmas she gave me a crappy Christmas jumper and some other odds and sods then when I gave up all hope, at 9pm she gave me the XB1.

Enjoyed the story, followed it better than 4.
Multiplayer though, wow.
The dedicated servers are an absolute dream and it plays like you're playing a LAN. A new standard set in how smooth multiplayer can and should be for a paid service.
Not too keen on Warzone, can't wait until big team battle returns.
Biggest complaint, lack of maps but then they are releasing them for free over time and this way I have found it easy to learn them.

Just running the end credits as I type. WTF was that all about, all that hype and it just seems to be the prologue for Halo 6
Kind of what I expected, the game was epic if a bit shorter than I was expecting but loved it all the same! First game that has truly felt next gen for me.confucuis said:
Just watched all the cutscenes on youtube. Enjoyed the story, that ending! What?! I thought they were all gone?!
I'm guessing because you just sat and watched cutscenes that you missed the fact that the bubble thing is a meditation tool, essentially a stasis system.I finished this last night. The campaign was a bit short but still took me 13 hrs and I'll now be going back for a solo Legendary run. It's a very good campaign, despite the fact it's really a billing of 12 levels since three are five minute non-combat story breaks. In terms of feeling like Halo again, it really does. The Sanghelios planet in particular is just beautiful and feels like a proper revisitation of the 'Africa in space' feel of Halo 2 and 3. I was worried that the game may have ended up a bit colourless like Halo 4 did, but it soon sloughs off the bleakly coloured opening chapters to become something very pretty. There is perhaps a mild over-reliance on Promethean architecture which I find a bit boring.
The story is good, although it does feel like a setup for the next game. Was there ever a Halo that didn't? I like the fact that the big secret doesbtte drop until the end. The split narrative is fun although the Chief is a bit part next to Fireteam Osiris. The return to huge, pitched battles in the story mode is very welcome and the refined gun handling is great. Grenades are next to useless now though, even Hunters can bat a plasma grenade away!
MP is as crap as it has ever been , but if you like Halo MP you'll love it. Very smooth, easily the smoothest online you'll see outside of Destiny. Makes COD BO3 look like a fking slideshow by comparison. I don't like that Warzone mode, it's crap. Where is the mass MP PVE mode, bring back Firefight!
Solo Legendary is good fun, that's the only way I've done it which is probably why I'm the only one thinking campaign was NOT short. I love the MP but I've always liked it except for 3, that in my view was probably the only crap Halo in the series. I agree it's probably the smoothest MP about atm.
I usually do a sighting run in campaign getting all the collectibles. I've got everything except one skull, which requires you go be on Legendary to spawn. Looking forward to getting back at it. I'm going to do some MP achievements this afternoon. It's as smooth and sharp as fk online, but that PVP just isn't my thing.
