Download taking an age. And somehow 'mislaid' 200MB of patch it had already downloaded.

Done North Yankton twice now and it crashes at Michaels funeral every time.

Runs great at max settings without MSAA, mostly get 60fps. With MSAA on it drops to 40-50fps

I set you PC people a challenge, recreated the scene from Better Call Saul with "trevor" in the GTA movie editor! Going to be interesting to see what people come up with using the movie editor!

Apart from the game crashing at the funeral how is everyone finding the game? Running okay?

The download itself was the worst part for me, the game runs beautifully for me so far - constant 60fps at 1080p with AA enabled, and seems to be well optimised (uses significantly less power than BF4 did anyway!).

Only minor gripes so far are connectivity issues online, but nothing unexpected for launch day.

I've got it running at 60fps @ 1920x1200 with almost max everything (except shadows) and using FXAA instead of MSAA.

Had a little play around with the video editor. Took a while to figure out how it worked:

Anyone know how you get your YouTube videos at 60fps? I encoded the vid in Rockstar Editor at 60fps so not sure why it isn't 60 when uploaded.

Very enjoyable, only done a handfull of missions but had great fun exploring the map driving around in my ambulance biggrin

Loads of wildlife in the mountains, i think i hit a moose earlier!

Pretty cars as well, with some great sounding engines.

So far as I know, YouTube will only play 60fps on the Chrome browser, so if anyone's not getting the option, that might be the reason why.

I see it now on IE11, wasn't there before, might have still been processing the 60fps version?

1920x1080 here with only a few options off the max and MSAA on x2.

Even though it gives me a vram warning, going above it still sees my sli 670's playing as smooth as silk.

As expected, the look of it, feel of it, the shooting, steering and everything else makes the latest console versions feel very PS3 / 360-like.I'm not sure what FPS it's hitting, but it's high biggrin

7 DVDs, like being back in the days of CD!
Looking forward to getting it all loaded up, despite practise never mastered the games console controllers, but then that's nearly twenty years using mouse & keyboard...

Used FRAPS to see what sorts of frames it was hitting. Not had it go under 70 yet and walking around it was often over 100.That's more like it biggrin

You guys have a lot of catching up to do if you have never played on a console, the single player has an awesome story line!

I played it (360 and xone), but it wasn't very nice to play.Frames per second out of the dark ages! I quit and waited for the proper version and am extremely glad I did.

It feels a bit weird transferring the character as it seems a lot have either started or had to start from fresh, characters only at 91 but still....

Don't forget there's the PH 'crew' PHSM smile

Oh and the download took ages, 60gig seems excessive, I wonder how much was the music I turned off straight away. The servers didn't seem to be providing it at a very consistent speed, it maxed out at just under 8mbps but had long periods stuck at below 1mbps.

I've also moved it to my SSD to see if that helps the frequent and irritating load times.

Played the first few missions in the storyline & messed around for about an hour as well. Just gave online a quick try too. So far I think it's great, runs silky smooth with nearly all settings maxed out for me too.
