Very, very early days yet - Kotaku are predicting we'll see this no earlier than 2016 at the earliest - but Square Enix today released the first trailer for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, set 2 years after the events of Deux Ex: Human Revolution.

Can't wait!

Human Revolution was probably my favourite game of the last gen. I'm a big fan of cyberpunk so I'm looking forward to this a lot.

I was looking through my Xbox achievements today, and I noted that Human Revolution is nearly 4 years old. Four bloody years, it only feels like 5 minutes since I was playing it.

I remember playing the very first Deus Ex, back when i was still in Uni. That must have been around the turn of the century.
This looks very nice though, hopefully the in-game visuals will be similar to the rendered footage.

On a high-end spec PC perhaps. Not sure about the consoles. I just hope that they don't do the usual thing of coding down to the lowest common denominator.
If I'm stupid enough to spend more on a graphics card for my PC than it costs to buy a console, then I want the damn thing getting a workout thankyouverymuch. smile

I just downloaded it the other day for a tenner. Seems jolly good!

Day of sex! biggrin

Love these games, even DE2 which was pretty much panned.

Can't wait for this.

So much so that I bought the Director's Cut of DE:HR (even though I have the original, and DLC!) and am playing it through again with the commentary on. biggrin

Going for Ghost whenever I can, and non-lethal play-through; tranq rifle and stun gun only.

I do have the fully-powered up silenced 10mm pistol though, as backup. I think the most enjoyable play-through I've done was with that, and headshot everyone by sneaking up behind them.

I like how in the DC they've changed the boss battles. The huge guy, Barrett, was easy as there's now two side rooms in the big hangar where you meet him with hackable locks and sentry guns. As I'm full hacker-stealth loadout, I just crept around, moved the sentry guns into good positions, then hacked the security console and they tore him to bits biggrin

Not long to go until this is released (Aug 23); this is game 2 of 2 that I've been eagerly waiting for this year. Trailers and gameplay footage look strong, sounds like a good solid story and the fact they delayed the release to polish it gives me hope. Anyone else looking to get it on release?

Woo hoo! My (PS4) copy arrived this morning - looking forward to getting stuck in. There is a patch required (predictably) and it's nearly 4Gb, takes the game to v1.02 but no idea what happened to v1.01 smile

Post up a review once you've got some game time.

Quite enjoyed Human Revolution; very pretty and it had some great features, but I found the whole thing a little on rails and it had nowhere as many 'multiple play options' as it made out.

This one looks good though, so I'm hoping the feedback is positive.

Early reviews are looking very positive; can't wait for my copy to download tonight biggrin

Human Revolution, like the original Deus Ex, was one of the few games that I felt truly immersed in - can't wait for this one.
