Very specific WoWs-related techie question - do any of you have G.Network as your ISP (& you are probably in Central London) ?

Reason I ask is I had to raise a ticket with them a few weeks ago when thumbsnap.com seemed to be blacklisted & I had to request that they whitelisted it so I could continue to view PH forum images. That request was resulted in thumbsnap images working again

Tonight I now seem to have a similar issue with both wargaming.net & worldofwarships.eu being inaccessible so I cannot access the eu website nor start the game via modstation

As soon as I disconnect from G.Network & use Virgin or a mobile hotspot it's a non-issue.

Seems like stringent ISP policies kicking in, who knows.

I do know that Malwarebytes anti-malware throws up lots of blocks for both wargaming.net and Gailin Games servers when the games (World of Warships and War Thunder) are updating.

My ISP have now whitelisted all the wargaming related websites & now have full access again, & I can now start the game from within Mod Station

To be fair they whitelisted Thumbsnap within 24hrs so I am a bit miffed that this time the ticket took all of 48 hrs to resolve!

How bad is it for tier 11 NPS ships ? - have a secondary spec Grosse ready to go if it's not too bad

i dont have any T11 boats

playing the T10 Napoli I'm usually up against T8.
The T9 Agir, I'm frequently top tier in my team up against loads of T6 cruisers in the red team. They get easily blapped by the Agir guns.

The captain skill rework now pushes the Napolis secondaries out to 11km

Maybe try a few games later at T6, should get to blap T4s

Yeah had the same - clicked through and all looked as expected.

1 v 1 brawls at the moment are hilarious in the Atlantico. (Full secondary build)

Often doing 40-50k vs other BBs just with the secondary battery, destroyers and cruisers melt almost instantly!

I've scored a few boats out of crates, which was a surprise.

I got D Pozharsky, Abruzzi, Dalian and Massachusetts.

Dalian seems to be an he spammer, I'm not really a fan of that play style.
Will certainly give a full sec Massa some game time.

anyone else get any new boats?

Got the Repulse. Not tried her yet as I'm just logging on to get the daily bonuses.

Timely - I whaled a few Megas a week or so ago & got 12 ships including Hood & Schill (looks fun!)


I may or may not have just whaled for Xmas just now . . . another 40 Megas . . . errrr

Current ranked (bronze) is at T6, so plenty of fun to be had there!


Also, just managed to take out the engine on an opposing BB with a 15" hit from Warspite... I don't think I've seen a BB engine damaged by anything other than a torpedo strike before? (It was a citadel hit)

I hope one day they will get rid of submarines and hybrid carriers, then do a decent carrier rework.
