Business improvement consultant, worked everywhere from farms to banks to (in this case) flight simulators...
Hence why I might be able to persuade a director to lend me a chap, it's entirely normal for these guys to have to make a functioning system at short notice with (unnotified) changed aircraft computing modules, new commercial computer kit and unchanged bespoke components...
If they did get into this sort of thing it's likely it would be a motion platform you plug wheel, pedals, screen and console into so you'd feel g force as well as ffb, like the one posted the other day.

Yeah, more suited to game pods like the manufacturers bring to Festival of Speed, or arcades/corporate events.
Although obviously I'd want one as payment for the idea, and there are people who spend 30-40k on bedroom/man cave road for pc flight sims!
In the meantime it'd be cool if I could get a cheap I/O board designed that makes a Logitech wheel act like a Thrustmaster...

Yes mate, its what Ive got. It is budget but works OK. Still finding a decent set up, but Ive found a few forums with suggested settings so will try them out. Its only 270 degrees but I dont find it a problem. With these feet said:

Don't think so, only the T80 DriveClub, T300RS/GTE and T500RS
Nope, you're wrong. PCars website has the Thrustmaster T100 Force Feedback in the supported list for PS4.Spent some time on Time Trials last night - I had forgotten how easy it is to lose a couple of hours doing lap after lap after lap after lap! Frustratingly brilliant fun!! I'm not the fastest driver by any means but, managed to claw my way into the top 20 at Brands
I paid £85 for the T100 and £45 for a stand, £3 for a USB extension and spent about an hour modifying the stand for how I like it.
All in at £140 + the game seems just about right seeing as at the moment I can only get on a few hours a week. There does seem to be some sort of advantage with the controller though, the other cars accelerate and handle better in my POV, though that may be down to settings above anything else. The only way I won a race the other night was sneakily swap to a Sierra 500 against the Clio's at a wet Spa and start before the others could change.... in all honesty I didn't mean to cheat!

Have you got any links for the stand/wheel? Sounds like you may need to mess with the deadzone/sensitivity options, sounds like your game isn't WOT. I bought the wheel from Box.co.uk but they are now out and only have the 300 for £229. Stand was from eBay though seller has now got none for sale either! A few 2nd hand with Logitech wheels on them for £40 but no new ones.If you can get hold of a T100 buy it, they are all selling out now people know its PS4 compatible.
