Black magic ha! Went and got 1 on most of the uk tracks in DTM nowhere near brands indy that guy is rapid.. Good fun though

Tell me, on those last two corners are you sliding the car at all?, feathering throttle?, coasting? Or what?

Just dump the gears to 2nd maybe a little slide on turn in but its just about the line really hit it really sweet that time. Just throw it in and hope for the best, dont go too fast into the last corner.

Wasn't too sure if your route on turn 1 was in the spirit of things, but so be it
I can't get my head around this bloody thing though, how do you get it to save the lap times? Half the time when I quit out it hasn't updated my best!
I just got 0.52.006 which would put me in 8th, but it hasn't updated from my last fastest time

Yeah i suppose but its legal if you dont do it someone else will.. It takes about 20 minutes to update your time.

I was going to have a bash at this but, I don't appear to have the AMG Mercedes that the fastest guys are using - is it a DLC car or am I missing something really obvious?

Not sure? I bought the digital copy.

Yes, the digital edition comes with extra cars:

McLaren F1
Sauber C9
BMW M1 Procar
Mercedes-AMG C-Class Coupé DTM
1967 Ford Mk IV

Microsoft own the licensing for Ferrari in games, so it's unlikely. Same as EA own Porsche.

All we can hope is that manufacturers see the game's potential and want to join in.
I'm looking forward to see what tweaks and additions the first update will bring, hopefully with a car or two as well

Gutted was looking forward to having a go on that. Although I remember using this car in an online race the other day?

Shame you cannot buy these car packs, I really wanted a couple of those cars, but considering I have a <5mb internet connection its just not realistic to download a 20gb game!

Definitely. The photo mode on Driveclub is excellent, full control of exposure, DoF, panning etc etc.
Hope its on the "to do" list for upcoming patches.

Is anyone else having problems playing the digital version?
I was online when PSN went down last night, and now its locked saying the licence cannot be checked.
I cannot log into PSN every time, its also saying my PS4 isn't activated as the primary one, and when I try to do that it says I need to deactivate the other one first.
I haven't activated any other PS4!
