Yeah, I was closing in on you at spa, just on the exit of that chicane put a little too much power down and spun, I then smashed into a wall trying to atone for my earlier error  trying to get back to the pits I blew my engine lol.

Sorry for the departure, playing fifa with some friends now. Great racing!

Had the most bizarre glitch last night, truly perplexing.

I pitted in (Formula A at Monza) for a tyre change. First thing I noticed as I came in is there was no pitman with the stop sign. Also noticed the garage behind me had a car in (presumably for a tyre change as well).
So I just sat there waiting for it to let me go out.

All of sudden I'm the passenger in the car behind that had just left the pits. I wasn't driving I was just a spectator but in his car. I had the rev counter up etc but I couldn't do anything.
Then even more bizarrely I checked the leader board and my car had continued to race rofl

I'm guessing the computer carried on driving it for me.

I am surprised for a game that took so long to be developed it has this many glitches in it!

I just hope the AI that took your car didnt set faster lap times than you otherwise that would be embarrassing smile

Would definitely be interested in competing, would be cool to see the differences in times across the 3 platforms!

Excellent idea, I think each week should be in a new thread otherwise it could get rather complicated.
I'd say a track and class is chosen every monday?

Havent raced online in a week or so, Seem to miss all the lobby's or everyone is playing witcher 3 like some basement dwellers.

Can some ph users add me: RossKemp1

Cant stand random lobbys where the shunt seems to be an acceptable overtaking maneuver

I had the same thing when I clicked "Change Driver" on the way into the pits once - I was curious as to what it would do, apparently it swaps you for a bad AI and puts you in spectator mode if my experience is anything to go by.

If your into Formula A then don't forget to reconfigure the joypad to include DRS I used the square button and moved change view to the pushy rectangle button in the middle.

Worth about 2-3 seconds a lap when combined with KERS for me so far but just remember to manually turn it off for corners that don't require brakes otherwise you'll be spat off the track before you even realise.

Ha! I used to be quite a serious sim racer so i'm quite handy at racing games but i'm also on pad so someone decent on a wheel should beat me really, just a bit of fun though most of the fun is trying to beat yourself. I'm nowhere near some of the top times on the leaderboards. Someone nomiate a car and track then and i'll stick it up and see what happens.

It's also a pretty good way to learn tracks you wouldn't drive normally.

How about Donny National or GP in the Formula C? Easy one to do a clean lap but tricky to master.

I have set my T300RS wheel up using the settings from the Project CARS forum, but since then, I notice that when I enter a practice or race session, the steering wheel gains a life of its own and starts to move about and oscillate wildly.

I can grab it and hold it and it seems to calm down, but usually settles at a weird angle, and as soon as you start driving the wheel isn't pointing in the straight ahead position so you have to turn it to get it centred. This will be a nightmare in a race. Has anyone else experienced this?

Cheers,
Steve

Dont know about that wheel but most will want to calibrate when first powered up.

I'd imagine grabbing the wheel whilst it's trying to calibrate would throw it out.
