Can I ask those who are still playing this, what FOV do you use? I used an FOV calculator but it gave me 42 degrees with my 40" TV sat just over a meter away. It felt very odd so added 10 degrees. It takes some getting used to but I do feel like I know more of what's going on with the car durring corners. I was using 80.

was go karts or the caterams and suited my driving style.

gave my nephew a shot of the game and dont know what he did but managed to reset
all the controls and every setting i try i keep struggling.

driving a go karts i need to start steering half way down the straight just to make the turn
as it turns so slowly

Just thought I'd do a 'holy thread revival' and to be honest I'm surprised that it's been so long since a post on this topic, especially considering some of the recent updates.

The reason for my bump though is that I just picked up a Thrustmaster T300 GTE and a wheel stand pro, what a transformation, a totally different game using a forced feedback wheel.

I was going to wait for the launch of the T150 but was offered this one for only £10 more than the T150 and it's only 3 months old.

I haven't played for months (since before the first patch came out) but recently moved to a new house with the worst Internet connection I've experienced for years - this has prompted me to consider getting the game out again so I can carry on playing the offline stuff. At this rate I might even dust off GTA.

If things go well I may have to jump on this wheel thing, during the move I packed up my old PS3 setup and it got me thinking...

Oh didn't realise that, driven a handful of cars all have handled totally different to each other with FFB, will have to have a look at settings. Still keep pressing wrong buttons
