So Y2blade does it look good?
Just found this information, not really sure what most of it means but it sounds promising.

Just trying to get my Thrustmaster tx wheel now, on my 3rd attempt. 1st would only deliver to home and the 2 jd retailer sent a completely battered previously opened box :-( should have its replacement next week. Also invested in the GTE add on wheel which looks and feels great. Looking forward to this :-)

really looking forward to this. Got my pre-order in for the digital version.
I live in a VAT free place and whilst xbox will not remove the VAT, Amazon remove the VAT from the xbox £ vouchers so I can pick up a £50 digital voucher for £41.67 which I can stomach a little more than paying £49.99 for a digital game download. Shame I couldn't wait for a physical Xbox £50 card from amazon as these are cheaper than digital at £37.50 (without the VAT)

Anyone setting up a Touring car series?
I was thinking about putting one up but was looking to join one as my hours vary week to week and didn't want to let folks down.
Had the BTCC tracks plus
>Zolder
>Watkins Glen
>Ochersleben
>Hockenheim Short
>Bathurst
Any other tracks that would sell themselves well to TC's?

Obviously made for PC, it feels like there are no pad optimisations done to it at all.
As soon as you turn off the assists it is nigh on impossible to keep the car on the track, yet I can happily blat around on Forza with no assists at all, managing not to put it into the scenery on every corner.
Not impressed after the first hour or so, I don't have the space for a wheel and it's going to take a lot of tweaking to make this fun to play with a pad...

It's no better with a wheel, trust me.
Unless I'm being daft, and that's quite possible, once you have a wheel plugged in there is NO WAY TO ACCESS HALF THE MENUS! As there's no triggers on the wheel (paddles act as LB/RB), you can't access any of the geometry or damping options on the car, nor 4/5 of the general options on the option menu. I tried using a controller and that does nothing unless you're entering your name, so it's not just that.
Silly, silly mistake I think. Maybe it's just me, I'm sure there must be a way round it, but I'm not faffing around tonight.
Cars look pretty, R500 was near uncontrollable but the Ginetta GT3 felt good. R18 was very easy to bin into a wall! The handling is going to need some fine tuning on the wheel with regards to deadzones, inputs and FF, but given that I couldn't change the geo I thought it all felt fine.

Wow! So, that's pretty tricky to play with a pad.
Managed to fiddle the settings so the steering feels a lot less twitchy, but it's given me a ton of understeer instead.
Other than that, it's great. I'm sure there will be some control pad setups from people in the know fairly soon.
Maybe worth sharing our setups on here to see what works best!?

Ok FINALLY found some settings that let me drive....
Controller is usable with these settings!
Steering assistance on in Gameplay.
In Controls, Configuration,
Set the Controller Input Mode to 3
Steering Deadzone = 50,
Steering Sensitivity = 35,
Speed Sensitivity = 40,
Controller Filter Sensitivity = 35
Not perfect but user friendly.
