I loved the previous iterations.
Which was the one where you could map out your team's entry routes and room clearing. The press 'go' and it would be full Special Forces Entry stuff.
It was always so exciting to see if your tactics had paid off.
That was the original Rainbow Six, I think the second one was similar and had snipers. Which was the one where you could map out your team's entry routes and room clearing. The press 'go' and it would be full Special Forces Entry stuff.

I had Rainbow 6: Vegas 2 on the 360. I loved it, purely for Terrorist Hunt. One of the great game modes; i prefer it to horde or Nazi Zombie type modes which could in theory go on ad infinitum. The fact that there was a limited number of people and that you new exactly how many were left made each kill actually mean something (or perhaps i have the mindset of a serial killer). Equally, the tension when you had 1 life left and 1 guy left to kill you don't get from horde type games.
So if they include a similar mode in the new one, i'll buy it

Loved Rainbow Six on the 360 - the Co Op terrorist hunts with a friend were great fun!
I saw a trailer for Siege a while ago and it blew my mind, but then that was clearly a well rehearsed trailer. Having seen the game in testing I wasn't very impressed. Each game seemed to be 5 mins of lobby, 1.30 mins of preparing, 2 mins of actual action and then start again.
The multi player element of the this game is waaaaay to dependent on you having a group of mates who all play the game. I can see the whole thing going stale within minutes if you are in a lobby with a bunch of no mic john rambo wasters and being steamrollered every match.
Hopefully I am proven wrong but I get the feeling this will be a lot like Left For Dead - great if you have a good group, hugely frustrating if you don't.
