The problem then, is that nobody with a PS4 and Thrustmaster combination can be competitive at Pikes Peak after the patch. The two stages I did post before the handling was broken, will be inherently slower than they would potentially have been (with normal handling) after the patch, as they have now supposedly'tweaked' Pikes Peak to make for faster times - it is all a bit of a clusterfk really.

Personally, I don't think this week should count at all due to all these issues and we should still have the option to discount one other event. Anything else wouldn't be fair.

Hi, I've just got a G920 wheel and tried it on project cars no problems worked really well then put dirt rally on and it wouldn't go round a corner, so could someone point me in the direction of some settings please

I have just read on the dirt site that they have changed the wheel settings on the update so maybe it's just that on the PS4

I'm ok with keeping 3/4 of our times (even though I only put 2 down) if we are discounting this last week's results. I think I'll drop one of those scores from before I started

Argh, i've just finished the Pikes Peak event on Xbox One! Nowhere near Turbojay but was reasonably happy.

Well I really enjoyed that event!

On my 2nd full run it all came together and felt really quick, right at the end I picked up a 15sec penalty for cutting a corner slightly, without that I would have posted a 9min 20sec run which would have been the quickest I've ever done!! Would have been enough to beat xRIEx by a couple of seconds as well!

Also can't believe I've finally got one over Jay for the first time in ages and there's a talk of this event being scrapped!? What a load of rubbish

Hmm, on second thoughts, feel free to scrap Pikes Peak! I've had a shocker so far! Full run still to go but currently 1m10s behind the top PC guy, despite setting ever better PBs all week. Obviously the PH pressure got to me!

As far as I know, the broken handling is only an issue for PS4 & Thrustmaster wheel users. Xbone and PC are were both fine.

Unfortunately, until they fix it, I won't be playing Dirt Rally - it really is that bad!

Codies have acknowledged the issue, and are working on it, as of 4 days ago.

Hi, I've just got a G 920 wheel at the weekend and I am really struggling with dirt rally I know it's a hard game but I can't get round any corners I had to revert back to the controller to actually finish a stage. Is there something I should do or is it just me being very bad? It's straight out the box haven't altered anything

Have you calibrated the wheel?

I guess we are waiting for a patch to sort out the PS4 wheel issues before planning a 3rd season?

I vote we ban Jay as he is a machine that doesn't make mistakes, at least I have the occasional 'off week' which shows I'm human like the rest
