Hm. It could be the league system being clunky. Frustrating.

For what it's worth I always run without restarts or retries anyway, adds to the tension and I think it'll help delay me becoming over familiar with all the stages so I still have to rely on the audio pace notes (all the HUD is off too hehe)

I hadn't played it for over a week and I don't like Greece, so I must confess I did run through the first stage as a custom event just to see how bad I was... It wasn't pretty!

you're going to really struggle with the keyboard. The game is designed to work with progressive acceleration and braking, so at the very least an xbox controller where you can vary the pressure on the triggers.
Using a 360 controller is the plan, you can kinda get away with it in the wide/open autocross tracks but trying to thread a Group B Metro through a gap barely wider than itself sideways is a bit more tricky... drivingyikesrotatecurse

It looks like, from next Tuesday onwards, we will be in synch, you just need to amend the setting not to allow retries/restarts and we're good to go thumbup

The night stage in Finland should be....erm....interesting!!

Alas, I cannot change a season. What I can do though, is copy the active one and edit that and delete the first event, make the retries/restart change and reactivate it. The timing might be off by an hour or so, but I can't see that being a massive issue.

Somebody asked the same question to the Production lead on twitter and he answered that this is because of licensing restrictions. frown
What a load of bks. It's a huge missed opportunity, especially when the course has been so beautifully recreated.

Silly question, once completed do you only get the one chance to do the rally?

How on earth could they allow this to happen? What an absolute disaster.

WRC have their own rally game out, so presumably can get that sort of licence more easily/deny it to other parties.

The WRC 5 game is currently £4.99 for the PC Steam key on cdkeys, £4.74 with the 5% Facebook discount http://www.cdkeys.com/pc/games/wrc-5-pc-cd-key-ste...

They've already got the cars in the game, and the track - I'm struggling to see how a licencing agreement could stop them from putting digital cars they're allowed to use onto a digital track they're allowed to use. It's like buying fish and chips and being told you can't have both on the same plate.

Welcome to the wonderful world of licensing. It depends who is preventing them; my guess is it's Pikes Peak.

Hopefully if the game is popular enough, someone will mod the PC version...

Gutted indeed!!

Yes, PS4 league has no retries or restarts - same as the daily, weekly and monthly online events. Makes it a bit more interesting!!
