I'll have a watch in a sec!

Ooh, you've done a fancy setup for Greece... hmm, I will have to suss that out. I will blame that for being 2s down by the start of the hairpins...

Tonkso,

Sorry I hadn't updated my Sweden time. It is now in there, well the total time anyway.

Don't worry about the points, it was my own fault for not updating in time.

Thanks,

Jon

That's no problem, it's only a bit of fun. I'll update it.

Think i messed up a bit on gearing, it seemed to bog down in 2nd even when i changed up from first at full rpm, cheers for sorting link, i had noticed, just,

Bloody right pain doing that video, will have to check settings for qaulity because it looked a lot better when i watched it back after recording.

I've uploaded your times to wiki page for you.

Jay, your video makes it obvious that you know the stages well. Every corner in Greece for me is a total surprise hehe

I managed to drag myself away from Uncharted 4 long enough to do the stages this morning. It was a rally of mixed fortunes really. Started off well for the first 4 stages but, had stages 5 and 6 were really not good at all! Initially I'd built a comfortable lead by stage 4 of almost a minute (out of the PS4 guys who have put times in so far) but, those 2 awful stages meant by stage 6, that was down to only 2 seconds!!

The final 2 stages I think went okay. That final night stage is an absolute bd! How I didn't total the car or need any recoveries I honestly don't know!

As we're all posting videos of our first stage, here is mine: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HW0KfBBJv4I

However, if you're pushed for time, watch Jay or wst's video instead as theirs are a bit shorter thumbup

Jay is on a different planet tbh. I could never get so consistently out-of-shape and catch it. I can do about half of a short stage at full speed before running out of talent suddenly...

To tell the truth I seem to have had a bit of luck while racing the league, quite a few close moments but I take it a little bit steadier in them, when I do offline championships I seem to have a lot more offs.

Although I did say Greece was my favourite rally i just seem to click with it, will try and get last 4 stages done tomorrow.

Just wish I could have a go in real life lol

Just got this and joined your league, I am really struggling, I thought I would take it easy so as not crash then had multiple offs, so I didn't do very well at all.
I have just started another championship with the mark 2 escort in Greece and am loads off the pace is the escort bad or is it just me crap?

It's you, in the nicest possible way. That is how everyone feels when they start playing Dirt Rally.

After 3 weeks of not been able to join in on the league I deleted it and re joined. It now works crashed out on stage 6 in Greece less than 10 seconds behind the leader!

Are there any good settings to check out anywhere? Do the setups make much of a difference?

The 1970s cars are very difficult, only the RWD Group B cars are more of a pain to control IMO. The 1980s are a bit more benign for RWD, I find. I didn't think the Escort was particularly good, but that might be because I dived in with it fairly early because, well, it's a Mk2 Escort.

I've never got on with those F2 kit cars and I was sure it was all going to go wrong... enjoyed that rally a hell of a lot. I quite enjoy pikes peak and I hope I will do better than the last 2 weeks wink (It's the 205 which I know people hate!)

Just finished and added my times.

Had a much better rally compared to recent weeks which I'm happier about! Apart from a roll on the last stage it felt pretty good, I do love Greece biggrin

Looking forward to PP even though I don't have a great record there, hopefully if we do another season I'll have some more time to get back into it and experiment with some custom setups.

The last stage was nail biting as I knew I was close to Speckle. He got me by 2.3 seconds in the end I think.

I'm gutted I missed Wales in the M3. I like that combo.

Had a go at the PP last night and on the Tarmac there is no grip at all, yet get onto the dirt and its okay. Not a good start as it's only the second time I've tried it the other was on a daily.
