Downloaded 0.13 earlier today and no difference in performance for me. 60ish FPS still on max settings and 20-25ms ping.

Personally I'm making a st ton of additional coins over 0.12, however from reading the forums and all the crying that's going on I appear to be the only one that is.

Just got the Centauro and played a few games. Hmmm... 0 gun depression and long reload. Feels nasty after the ERC. ERC is the Dicker Max of AW for gun depression.

I don't have the VPL yet, but I do have the Centauro and Centauro 120. They're not OP like the ERC, but they can be quite effective. You just need to hang back and smack things from range as much as you can. Drive it backwards as well sometimes, as the gun depression is better over the rear.

Ok I have the VPL now.

It's really nothing special and a bit of a backward step from the Fox really. Don't whatever you do fit the missile system; It's complete and utter garbage, plus you lose the gun. I tried it for a few games, then reverted back to the gun.

I tried ATGMs - just not enough alpha to be worthwhile. Currently still grinding VBL and Cent B1, also started working on BMD-1, BMP-1P and Sheridan to get up to BMD-2, BMP-2 and Bagel. It's a long grind.

They've increased the gun depression on the Centauro 120 and more importantly the LAV-600 as well. That should make them all nicer to play.

Giving this a go, can't get on with World of Tanks (read I get blown up with 15 seconds of playing. Or hold back and watch my team get blown up, followed by myself. Again.) but this seems decent.
I assume I need to level up or get better tanks to get the harder PvE missions? Only got easy ones at the moment.

Is it just me that's being teamed up with endless tomato teams in hard? Losing the plot with them.

There are a few bad players around thanks to the x5 XP, just like WoT. Lots of camping with MBTs that should be leading the fight.

Yes, IIRC you can't play medium missions unless you're using a tier 3 vehicle and hard missions until tier 5.

I just can't play WoT any more. Too many bad players who have no interest in getting better and too many lousy tanks. It has put me off PvP forever.

Are you sure it's AW you're playing and you're not confused with some other game? I searched for OxoTower to add to my friends list but it says user doesn't exist!

Haha, you might regret saying that. BMP-1 is a good tank, you'll enjoy the AC (auto-cannon). You'll have a lot of fun with the XM800T AC gun too - that's a real hoot to play, also the AMX. Dragoon and LAV-300 TDs are nice to play. Not a fan of the MBTs here - I went up the AFV and TD lines and am currently grinding my tier 6 VBL AFV and Centauro B1 TD.

Are you playing PVP or PVE? If you're playing AFVs in PVE it's generally considered your job to do the secondary objectives (the little turquoise squares on the map, usually between 3-5 of them). They have a separate timer on most maps so watch out as some are quite short. Also note that some require you to shoot at or destroy by driving into them and others require you to sit in the circle for 2-10 seconds depending on mission. There's currently a bug on some maps when you should be able to shoot them but you can't, so drive into them instead.

I'd try the Russian MBTs too but they're on a different tech tree for some reason so was just one or the other for now.
Just playing PvE until I get into the swing of things, I'd probably get owned in PvP in a matter of minutes/seconds like in WoT

I've had nearly 1000 games in PVE and my PVP battle count is a single digit.

Drag the 2 files named 160007 into your replays folder and watch the replay for the most utterly cretinous play you'll have seen from an MBT. He played exactly the same in the previous mission on Red Opo too.
