I've got the 4th ammo APFSDS now and it punches hard - not bothering with the HEAT, full load out of AP. Love my Cent 120 now. Not got any retrofits unlocked or mounted other than the extra view range one. Still not getting on with the Wiesel but got more guns to unlock yet. I can't get the mk3 optics because it requires playing an MBT iirc and I don't enjoy playing those as they're easy mode.

I played WoT for a while about 12 months ago and quite enjoyed it; I download Warthunder yesterday and had fun playing a few games last night.

The reason I'm interested in this, is the PvE aspect. I don't mind PvP, but I just find it gets a bit boring when you end up in loads of matches against guys who play hundreds of hours and wipe the floor with you continuously. So I think the PvE, if it is any good, would appeal to me much more.

What's the feedback? Any good? Anything I should know specifically?

Only got the BMP-1P, still trying to work up to the BMP-2. Need some st weather this weekend if I'm going to get any of those bonus

I've only got HEAT (shells and AT missile) and HE available - should I be switching to HE rounds if I encounter a MBT? In the description it states that certain vehicles are immune to HEAT rounds...

The PvE is the main reason I play this over WoT, WoT is decent but as someone who only plays occasionally I don't tend to last long against people who've got 1000+ games under their belt.

It's free to try anyway so give it a go, note the Tier 1/2 PvE missions seem quite repetitive, but once at Tier 3/4 they're more varied (I'd assume you unlock more at higher tiers?)

It's on the BMP-3 at tier 6. Not a bad AFV once you get used to swapping weapons.

Cool. I have the regular Leo 2AV and it's pretty good. Tier 6 premiums earn decent money too.

I try and whack them with a missile in the side or rear, then follow up with HEAT shells. HE is pretty useless unless the target has no armour at all.

Missiles take longer to load, so have them selected first. If you press 1 or 2 just once it'll load whichever you have selected next instead of trying to load another missile.

By swapping fast like that on all the AFVs, they're really quite deadly.

Okay, will try sticking with HEAT rounds then Yeah usually start off with missiles first when switch to the cannon to finish them off (I hope).
Kinda annoying it takes a few seconds to switch between the gun and missiles, plus having to stop to shoot but I guess that's to avoid the BMP from being over powered...

I didn't bother with the missile on the BMP1P. It's only a single shotter and the time to change ammo is too long as the alpha damage on the missile isn't worth it. I just went with the normal gun. I've got my BMP2 now with the upgraded AC but not gelling with it like I thought I would. It fires a bit too slow for me.

This event is hilarious. Everyone playing easy mode in their fast tanks and just rushing cap as fast as possible. Just done a scorpio game in 63 seconds lmao!

Don't know which event this is as I haven't seen the details, but just been in a match where a couple of guys just rushed to the cap for a quick win.

Do you have XM800T Mark? If so choose tier 3 easy PVE and just go to cap or follow the other guys.

Nope just got BMPs (and a T-62). Didn't realise how slow my BMP is... I've been in games which have been capped before I got to the cap zone!!

It's it possible to stick with the same platoon/group between games?

ETA would it be better to use my tier 3 or 4 BMP? Or try buying a XM800T?
