I'm finding the Bagel to be the worst vehicle currently in my garage. Only have about a 10% survival rate in it, if that. Just can't get on with it.

In PVE?

I only play that and its survival rate is about 88%. Average kills per game is 9.37. shoot

Yep, in PvE. I think it's because I quite like MBT play style and tend to end up trying to play the Bagel like an MBT which obviously doesn't work.

The Bagel may well be good but it means grinding the Scorpion which I have and is by far my most unenjoyable tank to play. Only gets HE and HESH and even in a tier 3 game a lot of what you come up against can't be penned so you end up doing about 20 damage - not good when you only get a small load out to begin with. I'm lead to believe that the Sheridan after it isn't much better either.

I have the coins to buy either the VBL or the Centauro, or I could continue grinding the T54 and M41 from Shishkin to unlock the fire support vehicle line (AMX-10P, BMDs). Some people say the BMP line from Wolfli is better, but others say the BMD line.

What are the 2 consumables you're meant to equip that give a passive credit bonus if you don't use them?

Don't know about the consumables.

Of the 2 AFV lines, I think the BMD one is slightly better.

The Scorpion is OK. At least it's pretty agile and quick.

The Sheridan has that nasty 152 mm derp gun, which kicks like a mule. I love the sound of it firing too. You can fire missiles, but the longer reload makes it not worth it usually. I generally fire HEAT.

This line is 30% off at the moment. I'm trying to get the credits to buy the Stingray 2 before the special ends.

Oh god no, it's a light tank. I think the name means Escort Tank, or similar. That said I've bounced more shots off those damn things than any other bot.

The main downside to it is that it's blind as a bat, but that's not really a big issue if you're doing the support role.

Which tanks are the auto-cannon ones? I'm sure I've seen people playing the BMD-1 with an auto-cannon but doesn't show it in the list. confused

The tier 3 BMP-1 has a 73 mm gun.

The tier 4 BMP-1P has a 73 mm gun & missiles.

The tier 5 BMP-2 has a 30mm autocannon & missiles.

I recently got the tier 6 BMP-3 and that has missiles, a 30mm autocannon AND a 100 mm main gun. The main gun has about an 8 second reload and can fire HE-FRAG only. It's rubbish against anything with armour or ERA (double digit damage unless you shoot it up the Gary), but it'll wreck other AFVs including the Begelpanzer. I find switching between autocannon & missiles to be the most effective though.

The tier 7 BMP-3M is the same.

On the other line, the AMX-10P has an autocannon of course.

The tier 4 BMD-1 has a 73 mm gun & missiles.

The tier 5 BMD-2 and above all come with an autocannon & missiles.

Dear god the quality of players at the moment is shocking. Arty clickers who don't even survive the first cap and don't even try to kill the enemy arty. Yolo retards who go off on their own and get killed early. Urrrr... so annoying.

It's like playing WoT at the moment. You can tell some people haven't played for a while, because they're still doing things that haven't needed to be done for a couple of patches now.

And you were right Beati, the ERC is a bloody good tank once you learn how to play it. I'm actually going to ditch those 2 HE de-cap shells and just fit it out with about 60% HEAT and 40% AP I think. I run with HEAT as my primary but tier 5/6/7 MBTs and a lot of other stuff (Termi's) needs AP to pen and I'm finding that I'm running out quite a lot now.

Fallen out of love with my Fox a bit - finding it to be very situational and you just can't carry in it at all on some maps which frustrates me.

I don't play the fox much. It can be effective, but it's difficult to drive if you're not used to it. I haven't gone any further on that line yet either.

I have got the tier eight T-90 now though. I like the T-series tanks and this one has effective armour. It's fairly stock at the moment and could use a better engine. Good tank though.

I've also got the Bradley, which I'm still getting used too. Seems to be OK, but not that mobile and quite large.

I generally use HEAT primarily in the lower tiers, but at higher tiers it's much less effective. At least with the Chieftain and Challenger you don't have that choice. HESH isn't worth carrying at all.

Do you get problems with the frame rate dropping?

Usually it's a perfectly playable 40-50 fps, but then at the start of a game it'll drop to around a nausea-inducing 22 fps. It's playable, but only just. This is a fairly common event and happens every couple of days.

I have to close down the game and restart to get it back. Sometimes this doesn't work and I have to reboot the computer.

I don't get any graphical artefacts or any other indication of an issue with my gfx card (an ATI 5870).

Either not or can't say I've noticed if I have. Running an i7 4770k and GTX 760 here so reasonably high end.
