Hi all,

Can someone explain to me the rules on choosing your car?

I was in the Mclaren 12C last night but I would prefer the Austen V12 Vantage in future. How many times can you use each car?

you can use your car as many times as you want, the "uses" refers how many people can use that car so for example the maximum of 3 Aston V12 Vantages on the track at once (casual racers exempt)

Way ahead of me, almost enough to hang my driving boots up - are you using a controller or steering wheel?
Using a dualshock 4 controller, just used to the track from having run it so many times on iracing I think!

Also @ChunkyChucky is iRacing worth getting? It looks like a really good sim to me but im questioning whether its worth the cost? As it seems expensive for what it is.

there are some bugs but compared to GT its a lot better made and connections are reliable so once you have clean racers theres a lot of fun to be had

I originally got it just to try, but ended up spending around £150 on cars and tracks - I didn't want to but while I had a space to set up my wheel and PC it was the best option available. All the tracks being laser scanned etc, it resulted in so much feel through the wheel (Logitech DFP) that it was easy and fun racing mirror to mirror in the lower formulae. I would definitely recommend doing the 3 month trial if it looks like something that would float your boat!

Do you still play it to this day? I'm very tempted, just waiting for my wheel!

Unfortunately not, moved in with the missus and current accommodation has no room for a full tower PC and a desk to clamp my wheel to! Otherwise I would probably have forgone the PS4 and stuck to iracing!
