Cj, I am probably being really thick, do we stay with the same car... I see the uses in the table so does that mean if I swap to another car a use is used but can stay with that car for the season? Or does each race constitute a use?

The "uses" refers to how many people can use that model of car so for example if 2 more people pick that car then no one else could but lets say you decide to change to the Audi R8 that would put 1 more "use" back on the Z4 meaning someone else could use it if they wanted to.

You can race the car as many times as you want each season aswell as change it to another car between race nights if you wanted to aswell, there is some confusion over the term "uses" so was thinking of changing to picks or slots in future.

I had to read that bit twice as we used to do it the other way on GT5/6.

Anyone got any lap times for Bathhurst yet?

Preferably for GT4 as that's what I'm doing, hopefully I'll get some practise in this weekend...

Where are the points tables Colin? tongue out and do we have to 'draw' a car each week? As like in the 1st race, where you get priority over picks?

going to be using a different program to do the tables as not 100% with the current one so will be up soon and you only need to claim picks once per season smile

Did a quick lap on Bathurst the other day, in the GT3 Vantage I think I got a 2:10, but it'll be more a case of how long you can keep it out of the wall for along the top part of the track! OP am I keeping the same car or shall I move to one of my 2nd/3rd choices?

yeah the mountain section is difficult to be consistent on also you can keep using the aston for as long as you want, the 2nd/3rd choices were only for if you first pick was already taken

Awesome cheers fella. Got a great feeling from the car coming down Conrod straight, flat out through the kink, then letting the car settle, blipping it down to 2nd and power sliding through the chicane - this game is pretty good.. cool

it does have a few of them like catching a slide in the RGT-8 of all things or overtaking people with a damaged suspension due to ramming biggrin

I had a few laps earlier but had been playing the game a while in Clios and Ginettas and was trying to fit 20 mins or so practice round Bathhurst in the Aston.

Don't think I actually managed a decent clean lap!! It should be interesting on Thursday, I think my results were more based on the fact I know Brands really well more than skill in Project Cars!
