Given the dwindling numbers in recent weeks resulting in only 7 people turning up last night im going to stop running this league, if someone wants to take it over your more than welcome to but its a shame as the racing was generally very good

Give it 1 more week Colin?

Give people a last chance to turn up then call it if the numbers are still bad next week,

The Nurburgring would make for a good last race wink

i will put the results up tomorrow after work as ive only just got in and im back up at 5am tomorrow. I might have been willing to persevere if it was simply people being busy in RL but for the past 2 weeks each night there was about 4-5 guys on who were simply playing other games and out of the 35 people who signed up 15 havent bothered to show up at all since the league begun so im not holding out much hope they will do in future.

I will still host lobbies when i can but will be more of a "unofficial" nature than it is atm

This is a shame. I was hoping there would be a follow up season. What's the reason for lack of engagement? I though this game was going to be big with the PH crew.

Agreed, it is a shame. Used to enjoy the GT racing and was hoping there would be the same kind of following for PCars on here...

Thanks for the attempt though Colin smile

p.s. the only positive is I ended the short season undefeated, doubt I could have kept that up all season! :P

I don't think everyone has a PS4 yet. I went out and bought a PS4 just for Project Cars, and I'm still a bit disappointed. For a next gen game/console, I really can't see it's much better than GT6.

Oh plus you have to pay for online now.

Oh and the majority of people will need/want to buy a new bloody wheel ! Thanks Sony.

Oh and let's not forget the bugs. GT5 and GT6 had a few small problems but nothing compared to PCars. I started the career at the bottom. Have gone through carts and super carts. Caterham series was fked. Half the time 3rd and 4th gear were the same ratios. Same thing is happening now on the Escort invitational. I've just about had enough of it.

We mentioned this at the last race, it was getting to the point of needing 2 nights to cover all the people, but the last 2 weeks we didn't get to double figures on the Thursday.
It's one thing to say you'll do something but a whole other thing to actually do it!

For me, alot of the appeal of Colin's PHPCC was picking a couple of cars you liked and making them your own. It was a bit like racing in one of your own children. You felt proud of them when you got a good result. paperbag

PCARs is missing that aspect for me. I would still like to get some more PH racing in soon though.

Dont get me wrong. I'm loving PCARS. However, I know I will still be forking out for GT7 when it finally comes. Can't wait to get me some next-gen "Standard Car" action and wait patiently for a track editor that still won’t appear.

Just spotted this. Sad to see it didn't last long.
I'm up for some friendly racing so if any of you folks are still playing then please add me: Jonnyspeedbump
Cheers,
Jonny

Ps. The Mclaren F1 and RUF yellowbird are a hoot to drive although trying to keep them on the black stuff with all driver aids turned off is no mean feat!
