Only did a quick search but this came up on my facestalk news thingy.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rrGL-pDGdfU

I can't help but be excited, if it's anything like NFS Underground 2 then it's going to be the first came in a year I want to play. There is another trailer due out on the 15th June which I'm guessing will be longer and then E3 will have an announcement!

Anyone else miss the "old" NFS' from Underground to Most Wanted?

I was just about to post about this!

It certainly does look special, I just hope they've stuck with the older NFS charm that they've talked about - if the feel of the game is anything like Underground 2 I think it'll be cracking. The customisation does look properly in depth again and it's nice to see they've included some older classics in the teaser too e.g. the old Skyline and the pink S13. Oh and I also hope they haven't kept the obsession with cops that they've shown in the latest games..

It's the only next-gen game that's actually made me want to go next-gen laugh will definitely be keeping a close eye on this

Here's the latest trailer, getting more and more excited for this. Can't wait for the car list, hopefully a good mix of different traditional nfs groups. Also would really like some more cars from the Japanese markets, like RX-7's, Eclipses, older Skylines. Really don't want another Porsche/BMW fest that has shoved in the latest few games like a boil on one's face.

Above is a gameplay trailer, looks like customization will be more in depth but maybe slightly harder to find what you want in terms of wheels etc

three more trailers since I last checked:

first one "Icons" about who you will meet in the game

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sNiLJnYs6Vw

second is gamescom trailer

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nJIXQefMU8E

final one though is much more informative and focuses on the game modes, you can also see alot more cars that they are putting in and the tuning which looks great imo

It does look very special so hopefully it'll play well too. I'm collecting my Xbox One tomorrow afternoon so this will be on the list if the reviews come good.

I'd like to see a confirmed car list, seems to be a good mix to please everyone in the videos, whether they will all be playable is another matter.

I'm glad there's no SUV's laugh

Absolutely - NFSU2 was just brilliant IMHO (gameplay, arcade/simulation balance, sound effects, Brooke-Burke-whats-her-face, music etc. etc.)... and with each subsequent game (Most Wanted to a degree, Ccensoredpbon, Proccensoredp, Underccensoredp) has been a disappointment in comparison.

If they can capture the magic of NFSU2 but with up to date graphics and good selection of cars it would be fantastic but won't hold my breath...

Of the newer ones I did like Hot Pursuit on PS3, shame about the lack of modification but the game was very good.

Including all of them I really loved the customisation in Carbon, the cars & music from Underground and the Open world from Underground 2.

Fingers crossed they manage to blend all of that and it'll be my favourite game of all time smile

I really enjoyed Pro Street boxedin, definitely behind Underground/Underground 2 as my favourites though

Managed to get access to the beta, handling takes bit too get used to.

Graphics good but story is a bit intrusive I thought.

Story looks a bit "American", too much use of the weirdness that is "bae".

Thought the game seemed good though, pretty much Underground which is a good thing.

Reports are the cars are all unlocked at the start and you just have to have enough money. What did you see in the beta? There is a guy on youtube who does regular videos, but his voice makes me want to hunt him down and beat him with a spade so I haven't watched many.

Only a few weeks now for this, cannot wait myself.

The cars were unlocked, just needed money for them. The usual vast amount of body parts, body kits, vinyls, wraps. Had the choice of GT86, Civic Type R and some kind of Ford for the starter vehicle.

I got into the beta too, the handling was bloody awful at first, no matter what I did to the civic it still either understeered or did a sharp 90 degree turn.

In the end I managed to get the dodge challenger to a driveable point & started to enjoy it.

It's definitely not forza horizon levels of driving, but then I wasn't expecting or wanting that from this, there hasn't been a good arcade style racer for years but if the beta is anything to go by, this could be pretty decent.

The beta didn't show too much story really, just introduced the characters (who apparently love Magnus sodding Walker more than life itself) and then threw a few different types of races at you.

I'll probably pick it up, just hope it's close enough to NFSU2's level of fun to negate my dislike for the 'icon / celebrity' arse-kiss that the story will be.

I'm liking the car list if it is close to this (source http://nfs.wikia.com/wiki/Need_for_Speed_(2015) )

A decent representation across the board of car's to suite everyone's taste, I'll be going JDM first and mix it up with some Muscle smile Although it's a shame Dodge, Chevy, Honda & Toyota aren't better represented, missing Integra's, Older Camaro's, Dodge's, Supra's, Starlet's, 350Z's.

They'll probably add more with DLC. I'm quite happy with that initial lineup though.
